Cottage pie has been assembled for today's lunch along with two for the freezer, one for 2 people and one for 1 person.

Six loads through the WM, and apart from the blanket and pillows it'll be staying out overnight. The met office says it'll rain about 10.00am tomorrow, so it'll all be coming in at 9.00am. That's as much as I can manage.
I totally forgot we've got someone arriving tomorrow, so even though I thought I was getting ahead of myself dusting and vaccumming both letting rooms, it turns out I'll have to do the shower room and make that bed up tonight.
Floors swept and washed where appropriate and some of the jobs I've been leaving have been done, like the chrome towel rails. Getting there.Better is good enough.0 -
Hugs Mumto5. Being a parent is so tough sometimes and my kids have reduced me to tears at various points over the last 15 years. Hugs, we are all with you.
Well I got the clothing completely wrong for footie this afternoon. Left home in bright sunshine so I ditched the big winter coat and boots and it started to rain, then hailstone, so I was freezing. My teeth were chattering by the end!
Off to take doggie for a quick walk before it gets dark. Then a bit of ironing to do. Should be a fairly quiet week this week, other than the usual paid stuff. I need a quiet week!
Kaz, interesting what you say about DSs scan. Still waiting to hear back from the consultant, will have to chase that up.0 -
Aga has gone out again, I am not happy. Engineer shall be phoned first thing tomorrow to come back.
Just digesting dinner then I need to get the sewing machine to fix DS2's school trousers and do the ironing. Don't feel like any of it really. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
