DS2 whos almost 14 still has a menagerie of cuddlies (they sometimes get stashed in the bottom of his wardrobe if he knows friends are coming round) but they all end up in his bed. He also ends up with slothes books and mags etc IN his bed with him They take up more room than him

That's the same here, he hardly has any room, I think he may be a squirrel. :rotfl:
Vanilla-I now make all DC strip their own beds as otherwise I spent 10 minutes removing a pile of teddies/toys from each bed. DD last night had a pile of metal toy cars under her pillow, they couldn't have been comfy.

DS2 just roll's his duvet over the stuff on his bed.

Been to town and got OH's meds and stuff for dinner, DS3 collected and heading now for DS1 and 2. Hope to get more done tonight when clubs are over.

    Hello ladies,

I've mainly been washing today. It's a good day for drying outside. Lots of paperwork dealt with too.

I've done lots of walking as my car has been in the bodyshop. It's back now and I'm about to pick the littlies up from after school clubs.

    CY Thank you xxx

Ugh. Its horrid out there. Glad we're all in now and locked up. Muffins are very moreish - did half blueberry and half banana. The banana ones are lush and the others make fingers turn purple :)

We probably won't want much tea... Scratch that, DS is demanding already. I'm thinking I might run away from home :(

bossy, how old is your DS? If he's around 4/5, he could be experiencing a testosterone surge, which can make their behaviour somewhat… challenging for a while. Deep breaths m'love, this too shall pass xx

I've made shepherd spy *nods to LW* for dinner, I thought something which required minimal chewing was in order, and it smells SO GOOD I want to eat it. Right. Now. I might have to tide myself over with a liberally-dunked biscuit in the mean time.

    oh joy...

been for my HRT check up. Blood pressure excellent *glows* - I know this - have low-to-normal BP so I can slip under the wire if mine goes up. It plummets dramatically if I have anaesthetics which is v. good for getting a LOT of medical attention quickly;)

and I have taken DD to town and brought back a sad DD - ah well -

and taken my car in for service-and-MOT and when I arrived there I was told it will have to be cash - the business has been handed over and banking not yet properly set up.

So I am now carless and have to source cash. Been to PO and got today's limit - so it's a start...

    I am wet though.

Anyway there is a light at the end of the owrk tunnel and a possibility of 1 day more a week which would be PERFECT.

I will tell you when I need vibes;)

Been to Mr W for a quick shop and the washing powder I use was on offer so stocked up.

Twenty minutes until I need to go and get DS3 so I think I'll hoover and mop as that is the most urgent job here right now.

  • Just hoovered through today and shopped for missing bits!!! It poured down so no more gardening today.

Meeting tomorrow morning so won't get on with the rest and Friday's until at least 2 - will need to rush then!:rotfl:

Just had to put netting over remaining heucheras in the garden as menage a trois ducks trying to eat them. Think there are wire worms or vine weevils in the soil. Must save these as lost so many last year and they are expensive to replace. Not sure how to treat said pests though - must research that next!

    Have a good evening everyone.
