I'm paying my arrears off in the next week or so. It acrually pains me that most of the people who have got deferment will acrually earn about five grand more than ne. But woebetide me trying to set an example to my kids that this means my benefits take me over the threshold. Yet I don't see a penny of them. Of course the fos keeps telling me I'm probably upset. You know that isn't the start of it.ONE HOUSE , DS+ DD Missymoo Living a day at a time and getting through this mess you have created. One day life will have no choice but to be nice to me :rotfl:0

Heres an FOI internal review request on FOI request on why BIS didnt offer us deferers the chance to buy our loans first. Its well worth a read: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/sale_of_mortgage_style_student_l#outgoing-426463
And here is a reply by SLC to FOI request asking for statistical data relating to MS loans. It pulls the old exceeding the18 hr @ £25 per man hr trick and so doesnt offer the data, but it does say where some can be found if a new FOI request is put in: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/mortgage_style_student_loans_sta_2#incoming-6255180 -
Thank you Anna2007 I shall see how far it gets me.
To be fair, the chap at the fos did already seem well aware of Erudio and was keen to be in possession of all the facts before making his decision on whether or not my t&c's would be changed by signing the daf so fingers crossed.0 -

The SLC one was my second attempt too - it's a bit like pulling teeth, but I'll go with the stats SLC has suggested, as I'm interested to see the gender split. Are there any data analysts out there can give an opinion on the request exceeding the costs limit? I thought over 18 hours seemed a lot, when they're just pulling the info from a database, but maybe there's more to it than that.0 -
My wage has now dropped back below the deferment level. I'm intending to use the same level of proof as I would send the SLC, so will I need to wait until I have 3 qualifying payslips, or is my next slip ok if I aim to defer the month after as my next slip should be the qualifying month right?0

Allegedly any hearing is just about costs now.
And as you noticed, Mr Reeves seems to have gone AWOL, has removed all mention of it from his website, and apparently is not answering anyone's emails on Erudio matters.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Or he got a rubbish settlement offer, realised there's no money in it for him, and he's outta here.
About as much use as a one-legged man in a bum kicking contest0
