IF you do a search for free kids events in Liverpool , that might help!

So inspired to have found this thread of yours Natalie - you are amazing how you have battled through everything. Good luck today.

Maybe if the bank arn't helpful a letter explaining might do the trick - often works better than being fobbed off face to face and is more 'official'.

  • If you get no help at branch level put an official complaint into head office with a threat that you will take it up with the banking ombudsman, that usually kicks them in their complacency

so bit better news but dont fancy waiting the 7 days
got a lovely easter egg in the post today for my boy i no its not all about what hes got but makes me feel better he will have one
i am feeling a lot better and as i said things could be worse
been to dwp this morning and she confirmed the reason my claim was turned down was because theyd assessed me for contribution based jsa as at the time i was going back to work but now my claims right but they said it can take anything from 2-6 weeks to process and get a first payment
shes put another appeal in for me re hardship so hopefully i get somewhere now xx

Great news - and so glad you have an egg for son - know you were concerned about it - I'm sure if closer we'd have all wanted to chip in - I know I would.

Not sure how close it is to where you live, nataliedee - but have you checked out The National Wildflower Centre in the Bowring Park area?

They often have FREE activities for kids in the school holidays and you can take a picnic for 'eats'. There's buses that stop outside then you're only left with a short walk into the Court Hey Park and then to the Wildflower Centre itself.
