A pompous director (ex public school twit) once spotted me carrying a brown paper bag in my hand bag and brayed loudly to a meeting "what's that? Box of chocs?".

"Box of tampax" I replied. I got applause.

    Fabulous :T

    next door neighbour

Sorry to hear that. Well done for sticking up for yourself at the time, and hope you feel more settled again soon.

Muttering a curse on his plumbing on your behalf.

Edit: although it was his plumbing problems that lead to this in the first place :o

I like bananas if they are raw, and on the point of becoming ripe but not much past that point. I do not like them overripe, or things cooked with bananas (like banana cake) or synthetic banana flavouring.

Are bananas the new mushrooms? How many NP have strong feelings one way or the other about them?i like bananas. I like them all manners but synthetic. Tbh, I'd try synthetic. Wasn't there a banana flavoured medicine when one was a child? Hmm, I think so . Nice.

For a holiday to which you drive, you can take your own kettle. For a holiday to which you don't take your own car and can't take much luggage, you can probably buy a cheap kettle when you get there and leave it behind when you come home.

And do my knicker washing before coming home, good plan!

Negative amount of stress. Just sounds wonderful. Enjoy it. :)

I'm all behind on the thread, but I took some photos of our front garden for Generali so he can have some idea of what I am looking at when I send the Vibes. Here's the link to all of them, but I'll try put up one to give an idea as well. Garden is a bit of a mess, and I haven't taken good pics, but anything is better than nothing I guess! :o

    Looks beautiful to me maggie.

I noticed that flowers are starting to appear on the hanging baskets at the front of my house. And the potatoes I got cheaply and bunged into the ground without much hope of anything happening are growing very nicely.

Very excited. Doubt I'll be able to resist sharing pics :)

Maggie, I bought DH four of those ball things .:). Love your poppies. :). I'm not sure what they are for but he likes them.

My white garden looks good, I'm feeling quite proud of it, despite the empty patches in newly widened beds, it looks......lush.

To the right Rainbow Trout, clocks have positive connotations as well. Reminds you not to overcook it, allows it to swim at a set pace without tiring out the other fish around it...

Clocks can be good. Like reminding us that we have another purpose in life beyond the self.

We'll see. I have form for ignoring deadlines.

Nice garden Maggie. Couldn't have one like that here as it'd take too much water.

Waiting again. Monday is a public holiday so 3 days without this crap.

Sorry you are in such a down phase, Sue. Is there anything us NP can do to help? Remember we are always here if you need to vent etc. And we can send dodgy hugs: :grouphug:

Glad we could at least slightly make up for the various people who've let you down about that, Sue. Was my calculation in the right ball park????

Just being able to post here helps...and those dodgy hugs look even more dodgy every time I see it :rotfl:

You were certainly very close in your estimation, well done!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
