The violently bit was a joke. I hate camping though. I like warm showers and nice carpets. Oh and decent food. Why is it campists eat so appallingly?
My campers will have warm shower ( thank god) and sadly not nice carpets in the house, unless it arrange a carpet fitter ( someone who has become a very I dear real life friend has given me lovely carpets to put down in the sitting room and what we use ATM as the dinningroom and probably enough for the study and or hallway too, but .......I cannot face moving the dining room furniture. Of all our furniture currently in the house I recon that is the worst!
Hopefully they'd think they'd eaten well too. The loo would be indoors.....0 -
I can understand your wife being cross with you, actually. I don't cope at all well with my DW being ill. I do all I can to get her better, and then I get cross when it doesn't happen instantly.
I don't get outwardly that scared, I get 'cross'. If DH had been in such a situation as generali has found himself I would be very very [STRIKE]scared[/STRIKE]. Cross. Love is the thing most able to hurt, even when its married to you, the fear of harm to that person, the fear of how you'll provide for others when you find yourself wanting and the shining star in your life is unable to glow so brightly? Extremely [STRIKE]terrifying[/STRIKE] aggravating.
Translating how we feel to how we react is instinctive translating it back to how we ACT, not so, much harder.
Love to you all generali.0 -

Homebrew and microbrewery ale, if that makes a great difference. One is a brewer. (?)
I'm thinking sort of more medium term about carpets. ( eventually we'll have hard floors) but I'd really like the ones we inherited out. Its moving all the books and glasses and stuff that puts me off:o. Sitting room would be easyish.
There are also some black beams in current dining room, I'd like to have a look at them to see if we could strip them back. Seems a job to do before swapping carpets.0 -

Nice garden Maggie. Couldn't have one like that here as it'd take too much water.
Waiting again. Monday is a public holiday so 3 days without this crap.
I always think that is weird. The experts work out that the best treatment plan is 5+5+5, then along comes a bank holiday and suddenly 4+5+5+1 is just as good. It makes you wonder how many extra breaks you can fit in if you felt your skin needed an extra day to recover.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. But often 5-5-5 is the first and only one that's tried as it fits with a working week, rather than being 'best' per se.0 -
Fir's been asked to give a talk in the north of England.
Seems incongruous. If he gets a nice hotel in the deal I might see if I can go too.
So, holiday ....sort of.0 -

That was my mistake, my treatment is 4+4+4+3. They give you 3 days off to reduce skin damage. The difference is normally the day off is Friday not Monday.
Also, you get 3x pay on a public holiday. The more they spend on pay on a public holiday the less they can spend on other things.0 -

She could take her own kettle to the north of England.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
