I like her! I think she always seems very genuine and bubbly and I grew up with 'Record Breakers'. But that was an awful performance.

This is the mistake everyone seems to make. If you have tonsillitis you have a tonsillectomy. If you have cancer in your tonsils they cut out your tonsils and a whole lot more besides and that's assuming that it's only in your tonsils.

A friend of a friend had the op. Looks worse than it is. After recovering physically from the op it took her a few months to get the right balance of thyroxin in her body again, but once she was sorted she said she felt 20 years younger. She is also more pleasant now. As I say I'm only a friend of a friend so not much contact. She did say that she was unlucky to need the op, as a lot of people can be sorted with medication.

Hormones do incredible things to your mood, patience and 'expression ' of personality.

An example might be simple pre menstrual tension making some women snappier or weepy. If you live on that knife edge of hormone imbalance your body is confused and your biological response isn't necessarily your intellectual one. But you don't know that till you know it.

- I will need radiotherapy but there's no rush

So there we are. Just radiotherapy to go through, almost certainly.

That's all sounding positive Gen. Do you want to get the radiotherapy done and dusted rather than delay it?

I'm grumpy this morning. The truck is still in London, the mechanic is 'looking for an engine block'. I think it's nearly three weeks now.

There is hardly any food in because doozer is out all day, every day in my car. It's peeing it down with rain and I don't fancy trudging to Tesco in this.

I really want my freedom back. I'm even annoyed that I couldn't buy supplies for client today. It's hardly exciting, but he's gone instead.
