This kinda thing really annoys me. Had the same experience with my grandad. I still get very  about that whole scenario.

    Fingers crossed for you!:)

Yes, some GP's, generally the olders ones, fob everything off. I know others in the same boat.

Sorry to hear about that Miroslav. There's always an open ear here.

    Thanks.

My initial reaction was amazement with a bit of 'must live all of my life before it's too late' before I settled down, went to work, was a little subdued compared to my normal self and now i'm just a bit on edge, not being able to decide how to face it and wondering will I ever get better?

Going to try and get through work tomorrow - just a 5 hour shift and then try and think what to do and how to approach the rest of my life.

Looks like we're in the final straight!
Mine's a distant memory .... nothing's happened really since I put the offer in .... I'd have liked to have exchanged by 2 weeks from today; that won't be happening will it! There goes another wasted £610 in another month's rent at best, putting my move closer to mid July.

We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

The silver lining here is that you have a doctor who listens and that you have a potential diagnosis where there wasn't one.

You're no more ill than you were this morning, yswim, you have a lanel for it and a potential path now for treatment.

My experiece of hyperthyroidism stretches as far as knowing my cat had it, so there's no practical advice coming from me, but from what I've read from googling, it responds well to treatment.

Roll on tomorrow. You have lots of questions to ask your doctor.

Yes, that is a silver lining. After the one I saw last week, I was relieved in a strange kind of way.

I hope it does respond well. I think I am panicking more now as my life is going fairly well by my standards.

The prospects are I could get better, but the negatives are getting at me. I'm going to have to stay strong and hope that the bad things don't happen, but at the same time see this as the push I need to get things done, create new experiences and really live life.

I'm thinking of questions all the time - she gave me the opportunity this morning, but at the time it was a new thing in my mind and I had nothing to say.

    Thanks for your response.

PS - your signature, have you missed a letter deliberately and i'm missing the pun? Or not? :)
