    Thanks for your response.

PS - your signature, have you missed a letter deliberately and i'm missing the pun? Or not? :)

No pun. It's a poignant phrase for me. Everything we think might be in heaven, is here already. We can't imagine something that doesn't already exist. The feelings that we think might access there, whether we believe in it or not, are already accessible to us. It's not unobtainable in this life.

We can choose our feelings because they live inside us already, not outside. It's hard to remember to choose, sometimes :o

    Thanks.

You don't have a signature I can comment on :rotfl:

I'm off to bed shortly, but to get involved I shall start a conversation...

What is the worst song everybody here has ever heard (and if anyone says a Britney song, I will  )

I ask as i've heard the new Pitbull/GRL song -Wild Wild Love and it makes me cringe :rotfl:

I saw three members of Bucks Fizz singing 'Making Your Mind Up' on the One Show yesterday. It was like a different song. Ear splitting!

Well, I now know that 4 cars don't fit into the new house car park and that the bin lorry arrives at 5.30am.

Well I'm out of the doctors.

    To keep it fairly brief:

    - the chances are that there's no problem with my tonsils
    - the doctor is going to check my tonsils by sticking a microscope down it when I see the radiotherapy doc
    - I will need radiotherapy but there's no rush
    - there may be some numbness in my neck and ear but it'll take about 12-18 months to heal properly

So there we are. Just radiotherapy to go through, almost certainly.

Sounds like good news, particularly as there's no rush. Hopefully that's the last of the crap you'll have to deal with!

It's tricky ... but I was up at about the right time so went for it. It's a short row of houses - no others around at all .... and from the road you can't see a thing - car park is up a narrow gap and round the back. Cars park on yellows outside overnight most nights it seems (mad as it's OK to park on the other side of the road all night without restriction)..... so I was keen to see, but aware that if the car park was being misused/overfilled, I could end up with an embarrassing 20 point turn to get out.

a] how full/overfull/ridiculous the car park is overnight
b] where the bins are put on bin night .... last night.

But, to see, I'd have to either park up and walk round .... or drive in/out and have a quick look. So I went for driving...... I'd have liked to have stopped for a minute or so and had a good look around, but with a diesel that'd wake everybody up :)

But, I could drive in and turn round without any problems. "My" space had a huge beamer in it (so my car'd fit OK) and I saw where the bins were (not sure where "my" bin goes though as they have them in the front garden and that doesn't make sense....

There is no sensible place for the bins to be put - a problem shared with many people I suspect! They are large and a nuisance unless there's been a designated spot for them.... glad to see there wasn't a self-appointed designated spot right outside "my" gate, for everybody's bins, which I could see being something that could have developed over time.

Hope so. Given that I was diagnosed with a cyst the outcome has been pretty lousy!

    It's looking tentatively good though.

    Sounding positive.:)

Will you choose to crack on with Radiotherapy? What would be the benefit of waiting?
