I think I have lost my phone.
Should I get another simple brick ( last phones DH got a deal, one was £14 or you could get two for twenty quid, or something like that.
Or
Should I get something that means I could leave macputer at home.
This is technical, but can I link my macputer and an iPhone to 'join up' for info, like my photo bucket account ( it had a fit when I tried to have it on dh's macputer, which it call macpuster). I could Emil from it, could is read on it?
Is it hard to work or as easy as a macputer?
There seems no point in looking at other brands if it can link to macputer and eventually a network with the big daddy system we'll have to not know how to work properly but will make everything easier to do.
I'd take a poll for what I should do if we could have a poll on the thread. Hmm, I wonder if anyone I know has an old iPhone.....
Yes. They work intuitively. It will fit over compatibility with DHs things because he will have his own apple id (the email address you signed up with) and refuse to sync.
I get emails and text messages across both devices and everything appears on both. If I pick up a message on one, the other recognises that it has been read etc.
They are intrisicly the same object, one is called a phone.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Ok, this sounds good.
. Thanks.
The third option is not to have a phone of course, I'd be ok with this too.0 -

How is your phone now?
(Well, I had a lucky google result that had a solution that actually worked ...... )
The trouble is my old phone's one of those Nokias that you only need to charge up every fortnight or so .... so it's not on my radar to keep this one charged.0 -
My biggest issue and battle is keeping him calm and stressfree enough that he doesn't go into lockdown. If he gets stressed or something is out of kilter, the shutters come down and his knowledge and personality are quite literally locked away behind those shutters.
Spoke to the school this morning, the person I really needed to talk to is off today and the one I eventually spoke to kept going on about personal responsibility that a 16 year old should have and he will just have to make do without taking into account that we were talking about a 16 year old complex autistic who has the emotional development age of an 11/12 year old, who didn't go full time at school until he was 11!
He's come a long way in those few years but he is still way behind what most 16 year olds are capable of...blimey, he doesn't even go out on his own alone, let alone anything else the normal 16 year old is up to!
I have just read this out to OH and told him about the 2 mile trip between schools at this time. We both agree this is appalling. Sorry we are not closer to offer some meaningful help.0 -

Trying to tip the balance in the NP thread...
We do punch above our weight as a county, but in answer to your question. Yes, always. It's a great place to live. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'm not going to get all apologetic about my misery yesterday morning (it's not a competition etc.), but as I've said before I am in awe of so many of you on here. You guys (and gals) get on with things despite the worst that life can throw at you. And so many of you do that alongside responsibilities for other lives (incl. children and/or other relatives and/ or animals). I find it enough of a struggle keeping my own show on the road (though sometimes I think that's part of the problem - too much potential to be self-absorbed and critical as I don't particularly have to worry about anyone else). I can only hope that I'd manage to do the same.0

We all fight our own battles. Whether you have apparant additional responsibilities is neither here nor there. Each one of us probably has something that wants to consume us.
I'm sorry you were down on your birthday. That's not a great place to be. I've had a few !!!! birthdays recently. I cried on each of my last three, so I know what it feels like. Worried about being a diva or whatever, it's your day, you're allowed to be disappointed for whatever reason, even if you don't know what it is.
Happy Wednesday instead, hey?
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
