The first image I found is this one, which I imagine is Not Suitable.....

In fact, almost all the images are of her pretty much naked, and the rest she'd still be pretty chilly.

Perhaps a very basic Greek-style tunic, and focus on her symbols?

    According to http://www.greek-gods.info/greek-gods/aphrodite/

Aphrodite's symbols were the girdle (which she was using to compel love), the seashell and the mirror. Her sacred animal was the dove.

So it would be really easy to run up a basic Greek-style tunic, stencil a dove on it, and add a girdle and seashell. Does your DD have long hair? If so, the images show her generally as having long, loose hair.

You know someone lazying around on maternity leave who could knock up a white cotton Greek-style tunic very quickly, if that would help? Email me (or PM, or whatever). I have some suitable white cotton that I've used as curtain linings, but which is comfortable enough for a tunic and thick enough not to be see-through.

Sheets and safety pins sounds a bit vulnerable to me - might DD be a bit anxious it could all fall off?

    You are wonderful. :A
    Thank you so much. :T
    I'll email you. :)

So, what else goes on in here then? :D

    Welcome Miroslav :hello:

What goes on in here is... anything really, as long as people are kind and accepting of each other. Some of us have been here for years, but others are new. We discuss anything that happens to come to mind - we tend to ask newcomers if they like mushrooms, for example - and in the process we become friends. Mostly it's an online friendship, but every once in a while a few of us arrange a meet IRL.

White T-shirt underneath, won't detract from the outfit and will stop her worrying that bits of skin are on show.

Green leaves (possibly plastic) entwined in her hair.

    Good ideas. Thank you. :)

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I know it very well. I've done a lot of cycling around there. It's a great spot. The approach across a field on an MTB is pretty crazy!

That is the one thing I am blessed with, in my 40's now and still have way better than average vision. I can still read to the bottom line of the eye chart in my medicals, and then switch to focusing up close instantly without any blurring.

Have noticed a bit of deterioration in night vision adjustment though, have to be much more careful with not glancing at oncoming headlights in the car, and keeping the instrument lights dimmed in the cockpit, etc.

What I didn't know until it happened to me was that the first symptom is not being able to read properly when the lights are dim. I can still read just fine in bright light - either natural or artificial - but not otherwise. It's because the contraction of your pupils in bright light gives you a bit of a pinhole effect to help you focus.
I think NDG has this sussed? If things change ( like that baby puts in an appearance) yell

    Thank you. I will. :)

OK, to be fair, there's 2 things.... Hair is going grey, but at least I still have most of it...... :D

Everything else is ageing at a normal pace, sadly....:o

Interestingly, my short sight is now starting to correct itself due to the long sightednessishing (is that a word?) of aging.

When [STRIKE]some idiot[/STRIKE] a cherished colleague at work gives me a project plan or something in a meeting that should have been on A3 rather than A4 I now can't use my glasses. For screen work I only really wear them out of habit. For distance (e.g. driving) I need short sighted glasses still.

The first sign my eyes were going was night driving in retrospect.

That's pretty much why I would need a job close to home. Especially with modern halogen headlights, I can't see !!!!!! when the road's touch and go narrow and I'm passing a row of parked cars, cars are coming towards me .... and there is the potential there might be a bike in the dark.

Can't guarantee to be 100% safe under all circumstances, so I'd rather not travel far to/from work.
