'What is that? is it to hold you together? Its incredible'

Lir turns. And as much as a shaking, weeping woman who is also laughing can give a withering look gives such a look and says,

    'Its just a slip'

and then I sort of wriggled out of it and snapped it. Which might have been more impressive had I the figure I think I still should have:rotfl:. He then said 'good, very good' .

He is a really nice guy spirit, ( I think he might be on holiday now because DH emailed to arrange an appointment now results are back and no reply yet.....)

I am still surprised at his comments.

My current Ikea list contains a couple of cheap flatpack drawers ... a £5 set of saucepans .... a folding plantstand .... and a couple of £13 pine shelving racks for storage :)

It doesn't/probably won't be stretching to any form of soft furnishings, or other stuff that's outside of my radar.

There might be a £16 coffee table, although I don't think I'll want/need a coffee table to be honest; they just get in the way.... although it could be used as a TV stand.
    :)

I was surprised at the time, with the no curtain and stuff. But I like him. I think he's been amazingly conscientious. I've undressed for people who've been less helpful frankly, :).

I had no sense of impropriety and had I been less 'scatty' his approach bp might have been different.

My feeling is he was quite insightful and could see I was disconcerted my 'flight' reaction and that I was trying to engage in difficult terms. Humour is a good way to relate to me, and there is great sense in watching to see how coped with self care. The comments? I've had 'professional' ones which have been really more discomforting.

I guess delivery might be part of it?

I'm the first person to remark on how many of these people are sociopathic. Even if this guy doesn't go anywhere with me I think I will recognise he has been very humane. The time put in that afternoon and since is .....beyond duty. Like that nice junior doctor I had at eye clinic a couple of years ago.

God, if you could gather up the ones with hearts and interest , what a medical facility for patients that would be. I suppose it might also be bankrupt but.....:D

I can tell you that IKEA do a vast range in terms of quality. Some of their better stuff is very sturdy, their cheaper lines can be flimsy.

I guess so .... but I don't think it'll be from Ikea. I think there's more choice from furniture places. I don't really know what sort I want - probably one of those that lifts up and has storage inside.

Actually, I might need assistance from the NP designers guild soonish. In order to persuade myself to get around to arranging some of the exterior repairs - which include repairing the rendering to the front of the house (top floor) - and purchasing a new front door, I'm thinking about what colour I'm going to pick for the front of the house (door and rendering). I think I've got an idea, but I'd like some second, third, fourth opinons :)

If I ask my parents (I'm sure they would like to be involved), I'd probably be told to go for white rendering and a uPVC door. I don't think I want either of those. At some point I might post a photo of the front of the house over at t'other place and ask for your suggestions...
