    Crummy stupid Easter.

DH has been working out and resolving usual everyone else on holiday before public holiday crisis, and feeling impressed he had it under control when......

Piece of work from Asia roles in, with a Monday deadline and requests for opinions DH feels a bit wary of. People just suck. Still, I wouldn't know when this places major public holidays are.....

I just had to remind a bunch of people there are a few non-working days coming up, and that I for one wouldn't be working them. Managed not to pint out that I probably would have taken annual leave if something hasn't been arranged for this week.

Guessing that it's difficult/ impossible for fir to turn down? Can he at least not work from home? Nowhere near as good as proper time off, but at least he'd be there with you.

I agree - all 3 of you, Vivia, Gen and LIR are seriously impressive, wonderful NPs.

I'm getting a bit anxious about childbirth, which is feeble in comparison.

    :rotfl:

I very much fear I might have been an elective Caesarian type of mama. I'd like to know when, where and what to expect.

I'm excited for you. I'm also sorry its going to hurt. :(. But you get something good at the end. :)

Not feeble at all! Every time I even hear about childbirth it makes me subliminally cross my legs. Just as well I don't have any kids, they'd be bloody difficult to get out.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I do indeed, and it's different from, say, breaking your arm or something pointless where it just hurts without any up side.

Looking on the bright side, they do all come out one way or another in the end (-:
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

I had to remind someone I'm helping with housing it's double time all weekend, so it doesn't seem to have sunk in for some.

He actually called to ask if I could meet him on Monday, but the answer is no anyway as I'm in Georgia. Agreed to meet him on Tuesday as he is finishing at 3.

I hear it's another 'CK goes away so the weather is lovely' moment (although we had low 20s here most this week), so if it rains from Tuesday, I am sorry!

Enjoy the weekend my fellow NP!

    CK

ETA: just realized part of that sounds really self-centered. It's not supposed to look like that, honest!

Depends how much he achieves tonight/ tomorrow. He has enlisted someone's trainee, and still got his vacation schemers but there is limited amount vac schemers can do, bar look up the silly things, but it will save him those little things to concentrate on the opinion. The trainee is good and enthusiastic but DH doesn't want to weigh trainee down in the way he was often over faced and under supported either, and ultimately, its DH who'll have to form opinions and carry can if they aren't right, Again, he's really not been doing this sort of law that long in the scheme of things so is very conscious of that. I pointed out if his boss is trusting him then that's the guy who knows...

I might get him to get me on to his supper site so he eats....

As it turns out if he has to miss this weekend my hormones have informed me its not the worst weekend for him to miss.

Edit: this food ordering this is great fun.....though I take longer than him.

BBC2 right now - programme about the Estate Agents... they're showing that house with the pink horsey sex chairs for sale. The agent is there looking round to sell it for her and giving her his estimate of how much she'll get.

TBH I'd be pretty anxious if I was about to give birth, albeit for rather different reasons.

    Why?
You (and child) would be set up for life financially and fighting off the press..
