There you go
That's how you offend without knowing you'd do it
You do understand...the worst bit is I had to pay the fine on a 1% cashback mastercard because they don't take the 5% AmexI think....0 -
It's annoying Michaels, but also one of those things - don't think too much of the £35. So long as she doesn't make a habit of it, chalk it up to a pain in the backside.
I've done it (once) and OH got our car towed away by parking in cash and flash rather than residents' parking. Once....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I've been away for a couple of days. I'm very keen to get back to my little seedlings0

I reckon the poor little things are more in danger of being moidered to death rather than neglected, Nik!
I've just watered OH's and Isaac's herbs, which are growing beautifully....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

It will be an endocrine neurosurgeon, not a stright up neurosurgeon, if that makes you feel less worried. Some how the hormone bit calmed my friend down a bit as I think I convinced her it meant it wasn't my brain 'proper'and through my nose, not the back of my head if it goes ahead as being discussed. Its to attack what is believed to be a secondary issue to the primary one, though not definitively confirmed I have passed preliminary tests as showing potentially positive for that may give me some energy back and decrease some pain.
I really hope that it works out for you lir. Chronic conditions can be truly miserable and you could do with some good luck on the health front now.lostinrates wrote: »I am NOT in any way, shape or form worried about surgery. I am in a very different situation to the one gen and viva are in/ have been in where an invading cancer needs to be addressed.
I'm fine. It's quite a long time ago and the magical number for me is 15 years, as I was told that if it's the other one I'd be dead by then. It is now 8, so the stats are looking good. The longer it goes on, the higher the chances that it was never the bad one at all.
It's a strange situation to be in really, as chances are I've been fine all along, which makes me feel a big, fat, fraud!
Hopefully in 8 years time Gen will be saying something similar - although we already know he's going to live until 2060...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Don't think its fraud though, you faced mortality in the same way and odds in same way whatever results might be. You might be the lucky percent. You are a one of a kind after all.0 -
Crummy stupid Easter.
DH has been working out and resolving usual everyone else on holiday before public holiday crisis, and feeling impressed he had it under control when......
Piece of work from Asia roles in, with a Monday deadline and requests for opinions DH feels a bit wary of. People just suck. Still, I wouldn't know when this places major public holidays are.....0 -

Agree with both bits- definitely hopefully from me too, and definitely not a fraud. You have dealt with an uncertain (even less certain than is usually managed) diagnosis in a logical and reasoned way I could only dream of. Obviously I hope that I am in good health for as long as possible, but should I ever be faced with anything similar to any of you guys, I hope I am even a fraction as brave, resilient and good humoured about it.0 -

I agree - all 3 of you, Vivia, Gen and LIR are seriously impressive, wonderful NPs.
I'm getting a bit anxious about childbirth, which is feeble in comparison....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
