As i explained earlier, my dad is very ill , i have other things going on in my life, i can do without the worry of waiting up to 2 months for a letter to drop through the door and then send the letter , the wife is also stressed and even the kids got worried after they heard us talking about it , i have told them its ok , but i would really would like to sort this out sooner rather than later.
I presume the now edited letter above is now ok to send ?
Thank You0 -
Looks good. If you're posting it make sure to get a free proof of posting.0

yes I did read that previous post and fully understood the implications but when you ask for advice its given with the best of intentions and too many people wish to hurry these processes along instead of letting the companies break rules or laws which subsequently make them easier to beat, so people will reply with best practice, which may be what you dont want to hear but tough !
so if you want to go ahead now then do so and yes the amended template is fine, it was your extra additions that caused all the negative feedback and dragged it out further when there was no need as you can tell by your removing them and editing posts that should not have been put on here (various admissions you made that dont help your case)

I have just looked at a POPLA form and it states ,However, the fact that you did not see the sign; that you bought a voucher
but it fell down, that you did not see the bay markings or that you did not
realise that you could not park where you did are not valid grounds of appeal
Does this mean the appeal will be chucked out if it went to popla ?0 -
No because you are not appealing on that at popla, you are appealing on the rest of the points that was in the template you are using above. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Yes if you were naïve enough not to include the other stuff about 'not a genuine pre-estimate of loss' etc. But you are not going to fall into that trap -you've seen the sort of stuff to write - and also Smart won't let it get to POPLA.
They will cancel when they see that appeal wording so bung it in online to them and you'll have a cancellation within a week or so, IMHO.
This is one of the weakest of PPCs. This is easy and nothing to fret about.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Monday morning, deanos, so take that letter to the PO and - just to reinforce da_rule's reminder - obtain that free Certificate of Posting Keep that safe.
We all understand how your Dad's ill-health somehow makes these despicable trashmongers harder to deal with. As redx says, we all want to help but the real experts here know how to beat this muck.
[Edited - thankyou, 4cr] This didn't even happen!
Don't waste time on it. Do spend time in a big family hug. Hope your Dad is receiving good GP care in safe NHS hands.
Just confirm you've sent that letter and update as and when.
