Dear Tesco, I don’t want to sound mean but I have to tell you how irritating it is to be constantly accosted by sales people/charity collectors every time I go into one of your stores (at least 3 times a week). I understand the important work these charities do (the sales people are another matter) but it would be better…

oh yes, that old chestnut.

what have you done to quench your curiosity, like contact the offending charity and pose the question there.

have you written a letter

sent an email.

phoned them up

got someone else to do so for you.
