complaint letter to tesco

I rarely use our local Tesco as we have a Co-op, Aldi and Lidl all within five minutes walk of it. That said the last time I tried to walk in I was stopped by a "Bitter Together" campaigner that simply blocked my way...........and was VERY rude when I tried to walk around him.
Fortunately I am extremely interested in politics, shot him down in flames, slipped round him and got hold of the manager to complain. Result was that they were moved further from the door and told they would not be given permission to "campaign" if Tesco received more complaints :j0 -
Exiting our Tesco, we routinely have to dodge both a sales stand (generally Sky) and a charity stand. I don't go to Tesco to get a satellite subscription service, so why are they there? I have a little more time for the charity so long as they don't shout out at me to try and get my attention as they did today. I'm not in the best of moods by the time I leave Tesco anyway (shopping is aggravating!) so they tend to get very short shrift from me.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

If more people complain about the invasive approach these sales people have adopted the more tesco (et al) will take it seriously. We are bombarded with sales campaigns daily. If they're not advertising on tv they're calling you at home or emailing. I really don't like it at the supermarket because I don't want to walk past people and actively ignore them and deliberately avoid eye contact - it seems so unnatural. However, this is what you have to do if you just want to pop into your local supermarket. Maybe I should have a t shirt printed saying "No I don't want to compare my gas/electric bills, I'm happy with my current mobile phone contract, I don't want to sponsor a puppy or anything else I just want to do some shopping and not be bothered by b**tards like you!!!!!!0

I'm one of these so called charity collectors that hangs in Tescos - you wouldn't believe how much I get paid to bother shoppers like yourself.
We are trained to pick the shoppers who look most likely to be annoyed and/or in a rush by our hounding and we pick different scenarios based on your appearance.- Save the Children
- Adopt a child
- Adopt a white tiger
- Adopt a Flannel-Wing Jay
- Donate a lung etc
However, there is a secret word you can say to us that immediately lets us know you are one of the good guys and stops us bothering you. Next time you see one of use just utter the following words
"!!!! off !!!!"
