not available yet i would guess
Thanks. Does replacing 'when' with 'if' change the meaning?
In the T&Cs, you must be 'registered for Internet Banking and paperless statements (and paperless correspondence, if available)'.
(Paperless correspondence is distinct from Internet Banking and paperless statements...)0 -
Got the Plus T&C via email today PM though I had opened the accounts on the day they became available - interesting to see what steps they take for those who have 2 Plus accounts and 3 Enhance accounts. The wording in T&C is open to some interpretation...0

After 2 failed attempts to open on-line last week (even though he cancelled the first as he was asked to create a new log-in), he got one opened on Monday by phoning. This appeared on his internet banking on Tuesday.
The guy on the phone said he had to wait 24 hours then he could open the second on-line. So today he tried to open the second, but again was asked to create a new log-in, which he did, rather than spend another half hour on the phone.
(This happened to me when opening Club Lloyds, but the new account appeared under my original log-in immediately, so he thought it would be the same with TSB, but this turned out not to be the case.)
The new account was opened, but did not appear under his original details. It did however show up under the new details, but he cannot operate it until he gets something in the post?
Obviously he wants everything under one log-in, so rang them and got nowhere......they claimed the account was not open, despite him having sort code and account number and confirming e mail.
On a second attempt to get it sorted, he was told they could do nothing over the phone, he must now go to a branch to get it sorted.
Has anyone else been told this?
It just seemed like the girl on the phone was saying it to get rid of him! Such a pain having to make a special trip to a branch.
Dont worry, it happened to me as well. But after ive got my activation code and activate my first account, my second account automatically started to be visible together with my first account.
So you just need to receive an activation code by post, activate your account and you ready to go with both accounts in one place0 -
everyone who has 4 or more accounts, presumably with minimum of £2000 at in each of them and the £500 bouncing about between them..
would it be wise for me to open one with money from a poorly paying interest ISA account. might as well get 5% interest on another CP account with £2000 in than have it sat in an Isa with rubbish rate?
yes or no...0 -

Yep, I've cleared my ISA out for these accounts.0 -
It's the first contactless card I've had. However it still asked me to insert it, perhaps that's because it's the first time I've used it? How common are these contactless terminals now?0

But he already had accounts so the first one showed up no problem.
The second account opening demanded he create a new user ID and password. He cannot see it under his original log in, but can log in with the new details to a point, see the account but not operate it.
To use the "transfer between your accounts" function, he needs them all to appear together.
If it doesn't show up under his original log in by Friday, he will go to the branch as we are going out anyway.0 -
I have just been reading over on the Club Lloyds thread about a few who had the same problem when opening a Club Lloyds account.
One was told branch will fix, but branch said ring Internet Banking, others got passed from pillar to post and had to raise official complaints to get anywhere.........it's not looking good!0 -
I was one of those who jumped the gun and opened 2 TSB Plus accounts not logged in as it was not available when you were logged in. Despite having received all the cards and pin numbers and the activation code and also an email with the terms and conditions. My TSB Enhance accounts are under one user id and the 2 TSB Plus accounts are under another. I'm not really concerned as long as I receive my interest each month."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

It depends where you are. They're quite common round my area now (just out of London), and obviously very common within London.
I'd say the most common places I end up using it is coffee shops, plus the occasional visit to M&S and Macca's.
I must say, it is very convenient for the small quick purchases it is intended for.
If you see the ))) symbol, go for it!0
