Just need to cream off the interest now.
When I know how much it is each month I will set up another standing order to my Santander123 A/c.
Then I don't have to do anything.
The interest will be different each month depending on days in months, bank holidays, weekends etc so would be difficult to be exact with any standing order.0 -

There will never/very rarely be more than 34 days in a monthly billing period though, so if you really did want to be 100% automated just set up the interest SO for...
£2,000 x 4.89% / 365 x 34 x 0.8 = £7.29
(multiply this by 1.25 if you're not a tax-payer)
Another option would be to assume an average 31 days and set the SO up for £6.640 -
Further to my previous post about being asked to verify my identity again. I have called up and been advised that a second profile has been created for me and the only way to have those merged is by making an appointment with an advisor in branch. Anyone got any experience of this?0

I am in the same position as you with two user ids and the enhance and plus accounts accessed under different ids. And no way am I going to make an appointment to see a financial advisor in branch, which is difficult to get parking near anyway. I will just continue to access them both separately. The strange thing is that the new plus accounts do have the sort code for my nearest branch whereas the enhance were for branches far away."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Ah, can't set up a standing order until I've got pin code through I don't think...! Will set up standing order asap.

Sounds like both your accounts are opened? My first is bit the second they (again) want verification. I wasn't asked to choose an ID the second time.
Think I'll just go and give them my identity documents again instead and see what happens.0 -

Max number of TSB PLus is 2, and you get interest on up to £2K in each if you deposit £500 into each each month.0 -

Their system has allowed me to convert all 3 Classic Vantage (still called Vantage** on Online Banking) to the new Plus Account. They are all also paperless, whether that happened just now or whether I switched to paperless previously I don't know. All 3 accounts have been empty, zero balance, for some time as the 3% could be matched on my Santander 123 with less hassle.
** and I am definitely with TSB (sort 77-57-xx), not Lloyds0
