I am completely new to TSB. have opened one account in my name and one in my wifes. I had confirmation of the successful opening of the accounts but am unable to log in. It doesn't recognise my details. Also I've had no confirmation email. The welcome pack does suggest you have to wait for a letter for internet details.

Is it easier to wait until I can log in before I open a 2nd account?

How to apply for a joint account?

Edit...won't let me open a 2nd account at this time.

Anyone know if BOS Vantage is going to be phased out soon?
Why would they phase it out with nothing to replace it?

Because almost their entire product line was changed to mirror Lloyds'. It would make sense that when Lloyds replaces Vantage, Bank of Scotland will replace theirs with something similar.

2 new plus accounts opened and funded in 10 minutes, both show up with my 3 enhance ones I opened last week. Easy peasy.

Will be recycling funds next week through all accounts.

I think we need to wait and see if they announce a new product first, the Club was leaked over a month ago but no sign of anything from BoS at all yet

Have just opened two accounts in about 10 minutes. Simply used the official link posted above (without logging in) and no user id details requested (so must have been linked to my existing details by the application info alone.) Was able to see new accounts online immediately after acceptance and also change to paperless settings also. It seems if you are an existing customer this process is particularly easy.

Thanks to all the useful posts above.

While logged in, I've opened 2 Classic Plus accounts. Took about 10 minutes and both appear in online banking :).

Will fund them both, and try Lloyds Club after dinner - roast chicken demanding my undivided attention :D

Does anyone know how the 'pay £500 in monthly' condition works? Is that every calendar month, or, like Santander's 123 account, is it every month from your account opening date?

I get an 'Apply for a Classic Plus' link at the top, but it is not listed among the options for upgrading my Enhance account.

I had the same but if you click on the link as if you were applying for a new Plus account, it actually lets you upgrade an existing account to a Plus account. I did this to change one Enhance account to a Plus

In the absence of anything in the T&Cs (have you looked?), best to always fund the day after they pay the interest...so that's the 2nd working day of the month.
