Tsb plus account 5%

I'm a new customer to TSB, and decided to apply for my 2nd Plus account so I could store the savings over spill from regular saver/first Plus. I'm young and don't have a lot in savings so I can't fill them both up with existing funds (I can dream...).
Did as suggested previously, and logged in my online banking but then used the application link posted above. All went through fine, omitted the overdraft/paperless screens, and both accounts set up to the same user ID.
No need to wait for the activation code, however I'll hold off putting money in the second Plus until I get the code to update the paperless on the second Plus to ensure the interest is activated :money:0 -
... because the enhances perhaps are going to be pulled at some point to a lower rate... and Vantage too? It's been mentioned many times in various threads...
Accepted. I'll take 3% on my Enhances while it lasts, and they're only recent offers unlike the Vantages which have been going for some time, and 5% on my Pluses. If the former drops then I'll move them to best offers at the time as always. Seems to be 123, after Club, till that rate goes down.0 -
Thanks for the link.
I used it to open a new Plus account and have funded it, however it hasn't linked to my existing accounts and I have a different set of user ID and logon info. No idea what happened...perhaps I'll have to ring them tomorrow and hope they can link them up!
Logged back in and opened a second Plus account. Another new ID and log on info. Just weird.
So now got three Enhance and two Plus accounts under three different IDs (same personal details etc) and logon info.0 -

If you login before applying, it doesn't even bother to ask you for login info and the accounts are automatically linked and available by the end of the application0 -
Strange, mine was instant after opening the first. You're choosing login and not Register, I take it?
If you're certain your username and password are those you applied with then you might need to call them, or wait for the documentation in the post.
If you call them wait until it's 'Officially open' online otherwise there will be confusion abound.
Well I called them and apparently I won't be able to log in until I receive an activation code in the post? So the call centre staff don't know what they are talking about!0 -
can you do the £500 into account 1 then move that to account 2 to ensure you have done £500 into each account before moving back out again?0

Got bored and transferred £1 to each from Halifax. Worked instantly.
Santander could do this, but the cynic in me guesses keeping the money in limbo works out more profitable for them. Should arrive by the end of tomorrow.0 -

No, still got three IDs and three logins... and I did login the second time and it still required me to produce a new ID and login. I'm sure it'll be sorted next week when I manage to speak to the techy people.
Just been to look and nothing linked.0 -
Anyone know if BOS Vantage is going to be phased out soon?0
