That's odd, it still doesn't show up when I search for the number on SNT0870.
My number of 0203 284 1577 was actually on a letter from them last week, about my changing to paperless correspondence, so is a current number. They seem to have changed 0845 to 0345 as well."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -

That's correct; TSB have changed all their numbers from 0845 to 0345. Some letters may still show 0845 until they've used up all the old stationery, but you should be able to replace the 8 with a 3 and still get through:

Costly calls are not right – why TSB has ditched high-rate 0845 numbers
Posted on 30 April 2014 by Paul Pester, CEO
You shouldn’t have to pay extra for customer service when calling banks or other companies. It’s not right and customers should be able to get in touch with companies how they want without being penalised.
We want to talk to our customers, and want them to feel able to get in touch with us whichever way suits them best. But calls can be expensive, and research tells us 82 per cent of Brits avoid calling their service providers because of high call charges. We don’t want our customers to feel this way.
At TSB we believe in fairness and transparency and this is why we have replaced all of our 0845 numbers with 0345 local rate numbers. 0345 numbers are included in inclusive minutes for both landlines and mobiles – so you can contact TSB on a local rate number from anywhere in Britain.
Supporting Which?’s Costly Calls campaign
We originally set out our commitment to replace 0845 numbers with 0345 numbers in February this year, supporting Which?’s Costly Calls campaign. Since then, we have prepared our systems and processes for the switchover to ensure a smooth transition for customers.
TSB is Britain’s only national bank to make this change. However, I was pleased to see that the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) – our regulator – has since announced that they will consult the rest of the financial industry to make customer calls more affordable.
I believe this is right and I am proud to say TSB is leading the way.
Spread the word
Our research shows that 94 per cent of people aren’t aware that 0345 numbers are included in inclusive landline and mobile minutes, while 35 per cent of people haven’t even come across a 0345 number before. So as well as introducing 0345 numbers, we also need to help ensure people understand what they are so that they can realise the full benefits.
So next time you are sharing money-saving tips with friends and family, do also share the news that 0345 numbers are treated the same as local rate numbers – whether that’s on social media or through everyday conversation.
Truth and transparency is key
And finally – we made a commitment to let our customers know how we operate and make money when we launched Truth and Banking – and we won’t make a single penny from 0345 calls!
If you think all companies should be more transparent or should introduce 0345 numbers, please let them know!0 -
well, fair enough to them for a change.0

Seems TSB jumped before they were pushed. I believe the FCA has launched an investigation into the use of premium rate numbers by banks, and I wouldn't be surprised if they will all have to provide local rate numbers before long.
Many print a "call from abroad" number on the back of their debit cards now. Invariably, these numbers are in the inclusive numbers of mobile and landline plans.0 -
I have a question about the deposit for the TSB Classic Plus that I couldn't find an answer for so far (or if anyone has asked!)
The deposit required monthly, is this per calendar month or per "30 day month from when the account was opened"?
Thanks!0 -
They expect you to pay in £500 per month any time between 1-30th. Interest of 5% is paid on the 1st of each month. I have 3 accounts with them and I transfer £500 in and out during the month0
-
Their conditions as follows state each month so I would say calendar month.
Eligibility Conditions
Each month you must:
pay at least £500 into your account
be registered for Internet Banking and paperless statements (and paperless correspondence, if available).
I usually just move £1000 between the five accounts I have with them (I have 3 Enhance accounts aswell) when I skim my interest off each month.
The terms and conditions for Enhance actually say:-
•pay at least £1,000 into your account during the calendar month"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -

I've set up 2 of these without a hitch, now fully activated, up and running.
However the first £2K transfer from Santander into "TSB 1" via faster payments didn't land yet and I'm just wondering if faster payment delays are a "feature" or whether it's more likely to be because it's the first transaction?'We don't need to be smarter than the rest; we need to be more disciplined than the rest.' - WB0
