Morning I'm just having a cuppa/ watching the weather then off to get the day started.

I heard last night that my 95 year old nn will not be returning from hospital but will be going into a nursing home and they are taking her house to pay for it. It seems so unfair grrr :(

Finally did some cooking, but I think I was too tired. Broke a glass, padded out the bag with bits of rubbish from 3 rooms -bin was only emptied on Tuesday and that's the second big bag of junk out (and more stuff in the garden, but I couldn't do anymore).

Bathroom is looking half done - towels are back inside the big cupboard (in a little cupboard) but clearing broken plaster out of the bottom and moving stuff left me exhausted and there is still work to do.

DS3's friend had to leave (coming back next week). They managed to wrangle the single bed out of the smallest bedroom but as I had just put everything onto the bed to get access to the wardrobe (towels and old kitchen cupboards -being used to divide space into cubbyholes for bathroom were in there) it was a bit of a rush.

Smallest bedroom is now ready for anti-moulding/ cleaning/ painting. Another pile of junk from there - bed they moved is a solid wooden one with integrated drawers and is only a few inches shorter than the room. It needs to be levered up onto its end and then moved round. Obviously this doesn't happen very often - so large dustballs and all the things that can fall down small spaces-tissues, pens, cutlery, unmentionables. on the plus side I found £1.61.

Didn't post last night - still not sure if this makes any sense now. Very glad it is my day for visiting my mother (not been further than the end of the yard all week except for a brief trip to buy more paint and path cleaner. Will go straight to bed when I get home,re-group tomorrow and on Sunday review how much I have done this week -oh I did 2 lots of washing and brought everything in (including DS3's duvet -washed his pillows a few weeks ago, didn't have time to wash the duvet so put it out on the line and then decided it wasn't coming back in so left it out to get rained on a couple of times, kept turning it this week to make sure it was thoroughly dry) before it got dark.

Happy flying. Sorry, I feel a bit flat and I think this may sound miserable and disjointed. Tomorrow I will start by getting rid of junk and make time for a proper walk later (and get the anti-histamines out of the attic - may need some ropes and a sherpa).
