Neveah Big (((HUGS))) and loads of Wolfy strength vibes. I am so very sorry to hear your news.

Mothernerd welcome - I had to lie down after reading all you managed to get done!:D

The kids are at school, I've been to the co-op and got loo roll. Why does nobody tell me we have run out? I only discover it when I find there is no paper in our en-suite because the kids have pinched it for their bathroom.
That'll be because you're meant to be an all-seeing, all-knowing Superwoman, and anticipate the needs of the entire household before they themselves realise they have needs. I'm still trying to train Mr LW to alert me when the dental floss needs replenishing (I don't use it, as I don't have a tooth left of my own) so I sort of know how you feel - I'm so paranoid about loo roll though, that I usually buy a pack of 12 as soon as we start the spare pack of 12 we have in storage.:D

If you hang a length of loo paper over the inside of the bath so the spider can scramble up it, they let themselves down the outside and scuttle away to carry on the good work catching flies.
Maybe you shouldn't mention loo paper in Mumto5's presence just now.:D Actually, that's a good idea, re getting rid of spiders.:o I usually use the glass over the spider and bit of cardboard underneath method; I used to just scoop them up in my hands, but my poor old hands go into spasm occasionally now, so there's a danger that I'd harm the spider if I did that now.

Going to put the Dys0n round in a bit, then it'll be put away til Monday, as Jessie hates vacuums; she's due to arrive at 19:00 tonight.:T:T:T

Top level tidied, more gibble shoved in attic, futon made up for last minute one night guest, paperwork for tomorrow's meeting removed from my office, kitchen door window cleaned, lunch of leftovers scoffed, dog walked twice, meal plan and shopping lists for next week finished. I'm now off to the chalet with a stout pair of rubber gloves to start removing bedding for washing. The forecast is that the dry weather will continue for another five days at least so there's no excuse for not getting on with it.
    Better is good enough.
  • Update - just finished my double HHI - it took that long - with a short break inbetween. Now going to put on the last bedding to wash and think will call it a day.

If it stays fine - more gardening at 4:15 but that will have to do!!!

    Have a good evening everyone.

Been to PO with return and documents for Guarantor form. Accompanied by a letter pointing out that, as they have required confidential data I expect them to keep it safe under the Data Protection Act and to securely destroy it once it is no longer needed. I have also pointed out to them that they are not to transmit any of the data to a third party.

I do believe I have got all bolshy!

Car service booked. Mechanic has retired. Hope his nephew is as reliable, trustworthy and cheap as he was.

Sorry to hear your news Neveah.

I got a lot more done than I expected before the paid stuff today as I did the bedroom jobs too (except for changing the bedding - I'll do that in the morning).

Just about to walk the dogs, then make dinner.

DD is at her interview, posivibes required pretty please.

Not leading my example again. Cycled to town which was pleasant and is a great way to limit spending to what can fit in my basket.

Sat in the garden for an hour - well that was on the list - and have done an hour in the back garden and chatted to a neighbour.

    Two loads of washing done.
    DW on.

Going to wash up now and make breaded chicken for DS3 and me - the others are all away now until Sunday night. Oh and DS3 on inset tomorrow so need to think of something we can do.

Loving the new you Valli and thanks for mentioning car service I have one going in tomorrow and had forgotten all about it.

Posivibes winging their way towards her.

Four massive laundry bags of bedlinen and towels dragged back to the house. First load of towels and pillowcases twirling as I type, and I'll get two more loads done and out before The Goodwife starts and I stop for the day. I'll have run out of line space after three loads anyway. (I'm very glad I didn't need to take the wrappers off four packs of bedlinen - they're pristine in their sealed packs.)

    Used the secret code earlier;)

    Have to be circumspect;)

Have minced the grass - and it looks like I used a whisk or something.

Have played with my 'new' sewing machine and redone a seam.
Have dug half the veg bed - even after the dry weather of late the 'soil' was very very heavy. Should have been done before winter but I have been busy.

I'm normally really amenable. This is not like me and I feel uncomfortable...but I am fighting back.
