I have done precisely s0d all today, and I'm feeling very happy for it :) Split shift at the paid stuff which always mucks me about and since getting home I have been too tired to lift more than a cider to my lips :o

Tomorrow will be a different matter -- my "todo"s are longer than my arm but I will feel a lot better for munching a few frogs and generally getting ready for le weekend.

Jazee hope your DD's interview went well

DS3 in bed with a sore knee, tomorrow could now be quiet as I'm a bit concerned it is the start of OSD.

Debating whether to do my ironing now or in the morning.

    Hi all

Thank you bossy & Mrs m-p & Dustyfor the birthday wishes.

Been out for a birthday meal and I'm typing this on my new kindle fire - I am a lucky flylady.

neveah no words will be enough but huge hugs to you and great strength to come to terms with your diagnosis x
mumto5 continued hugs and I'm glad you have an alliance with your friend
    natty hugs to you x

On my days off from the paid stuff I managed to make over & paint the smallest spare room, finish painting the landing, prime the parts of the shower room that was flaking and a trip to dune!m. Saturday's plan of action is to paint the biggest spare room.

    Goodnight all

    Deco x
  • Evening all. Just a quick post. Managed a little bit more in the girls room, WMx4 TDx1 and DWx1. Had to hunt for the kids red books, completely forgot they had jabs this afternoon. Called to do some shopping after and didn't get home till after 5. So was tea, books and bed. Will get back in the girls room tomorrow as it's going to drive me mad now until I find that shoe.
    Goodnight all x

The sun is coming out and the long-tailed t!ts are back :cool

Very envious; I've hardly seen ours at all this year.
However I've seen a few 'paired' frogs in the pond, also a plump-looking newt.

Glad you've had a good birthday, Deco - Many Happy Returns, and enjoy your K!ndle!

Please don't let me be the one to drive you mad, Charlie. It will turn up one day, when you're least expecting it (like our shelf supports did, a couple of days ago :rotfl:)

Had a lovely afternoon eating lunch and drinking coffee with my friend :)
DH came home happy from the heritage railway, having got himself on a volunteers' induction course at the beginning of April :)
I beat him at Scrabble this evening :)
I also managed to do quite a bit of weeding and clearing in what is going to be my new herbaceous border :) - but the soil is very sandy here and I shall now need to dig in loads of manure while the border is pretty well empty of plants, before I start planting out.

Most of the house looks clean and tidy. I can't do the rest until we have finished the utility. We will have to have a blitz on it tomorrow and Saturday.

    Sleep well, everyone.
