Huge (((hugs))) Natty. I still miss Darling D, and she went in 2006. (I'm just so glad I had her around me for as long as I did; it makes me a very lucky person.) You did everything anyone possibly could to give Amycat the best life she could have had, and letting her go was brave, selfless, compassionate and loving. I hope the kittens make you laugh a lot over the next few days while you get over the shock.

Hugs Natty - My old lady is 16 now; the Vallikids refer to her as thei sister - they cannot remember not having her - they are a huge part of our lives and I hope the kittens bring back some happy memories of Amycat's life with you x

(((Hugs))) to Natty. The kittens will never replace Amycat, but our hearts are always big enough to love more people and more pets.

DGDs came and played football on the lawn - with squeals of glee as they watched 6 horses passing our back gate.
DGD1 topped up the mealworms.
I have potted up the plug plants and ended up with 73 of them
Off out now with DH to visit a small local nursery which is open this weekend... hopefully to get even more plants at bargain prices :cool:

Grass cut, somebody else dog poo to pick up.

Plumber still here. Glad I have such a huge pile of old towels!

Took DS1 to MRI appt at 9.30
2 loads of washing firmly anchored to line (thanks Valli) with more in WM
S&S done
Fed and watered the lawn and all pots (lots)!
Greengrocers and bargain food shop visited and shopping put away, just going to do a bit of MrS shopping for del Mon.
Paperwork all up to date so going to get a quote for home insurance, tedious but necessary to be :money:

Kitchen clean
Decided to leave bathroom as DD said she would shower post jui jitsu, so I'll do that after we've eaten - jacket spuds (again!;)) - love 'em!

will get shopping when I take the Valliteen to work.

me too, I'd come for tea, dreams of Mr Pickwick's potatoes with cottage cheese from a market square not too far from you

2 more WM and 1 TD done (no-one else likes rough towels crisp from the line - sissies!)
Insurance quote sorted, with cash back I can get it for 1/2 of what I paid last year!
Shopping ordered with free del code
will go off and do HHI...

Free lisitng weekend, so more bits up, more to go as it seems it is a 4 day weekend for eby.

Work done busy today, but there were enough of us to cope.
General daily stuff done
Must sort out my seeds and get them sown.
Come to that must mend the greenhouse somehow
