me too, I'd come for tea, dreams of Mr Pickwick's potatoes with cottage cheese from a market square not too far from you ;)
Years ago, after I had been made redundant I had a brief stint standing a stall on the Flea Market. Was only in New Square then. Jacket spud with cottage cheese was my regular Thursday lunch!

Not my day. The Aga has gone out now. Glad DS3 and I ate at lunchtime and I've left him at my Mum's for dinner. House feels so cold without it on so I've put the heating on and will now hoover the houes to warm up.

    Hugs Natty.

Been looking after my darling Niece all day so nothing done except a bit of laundry.

I am having trouble with my eye and my vision is a bit blurry tonight. Going to the opticians on Monday. OH has injured his leg and cant drive at the moment and we live in the middle of nowhere. If my eye gets any worse this could get interesting!!!

Being on the computer probably isnt a good idea so I am going to sign off. Hugs all x

    Morning all.

Aga getting warm but my hands are too weak to turn the water on. Loosing patience now. I need a cuppa before I try again but don't hold out much hope.

  • Morning everyone - dull day again here and garden still sodden - making it hard to weed. Hopefully will be better later.

Move around going well - hope to complete it today and clean dining room properly afterwards!! Need to put sc on so can have an easy meal later.

    Have agood day xx

    Morning all

Was too tired to update yesterday, but managed to do all on my list so pleased with myself. Mind you I have my two best friends coming to stay next weekend so it does focus the mind!

    Today's plan of action:

    WM is on
    Hang out washing
    Go to bee and q
    Paint above the shower

My dad is coming round later to do some jobs for me (he has power tools) so my house moving to-do list will have a few more things crossed off of it.

Sun is shining here and I actually feel a bit positive for the first time in months.

Dusty healing vibes for your hands, hope you manage to get the aga started

    Have a great day all

    Deco x

Healing vibes for your hands Dusty and calming vibes for Dancemum's DS.

Two lodgers decluttered, beds stripped and laundry mountain rebuilt.
Both pillows from the double bed need washing (for the first time ever after a stay) and one of them is already twirling. They may not be salvagable but it's worth a try.

Fortunately I've cleared almost all of the chalet stuff, with only nine single cotton fitted sheets still on the line. Everything else is washed, dried and folded but I won't want to take it back until I've finished the spring cleaning over there. OH and I are going over later, briefly, to set the monster dehumidifier going and for him to deal with the mousenest and to bring back a pile of pillows. The first let is on 12th April so it has to be pristine by then and the condensation caused by four adults and two dogs over Christmas has caused some nasties that need addressing. I need sun and heat, really, to sort it out.
    Better is good enough.
