I think you have to download new thing for computer..I keep getting reminders as I haven't switched my laptop on for few days

Has anyone actually installed this yet ? Been having a few probs with my computer anyway and am loathe to download anything new until that's sorted.

Well I downloaded it tonight. It was supposed to create a shortcut to use. I couldn't find it. It was getting late so I just transmitted using the odd shortcut. That worked ok. So no idea what's going on. Hang fire if you are still transmitting ok. My laptop is pretty old and probably will get to a stage where all this stuff doesn't work. I hardly use my laptop now anyway as I do everything else on phone and tablet

I installed the new app a few weeks ago, it starts up when I turn my PC on, making it really slow, and a large box comes up with 'runtime error' every time, the old app did not do this. I have contacted them about this and they are working hard and fast (their words) to correct this. 3 wks later still not sorted! Not happy with it at all.
Not sure what is going to happen when shops start using QR codes instead of barcodes, they would probably make a right mess of this as well.

What a pain 🤬 Can I ask are you running Windows 10 or 11 ?

Windows 10. On a different Shop and Scan topic I am finding when they send you surveys' to complete, they are not always adding the points to your account, so you have to contact them about this as well. The last time it took them 5 weeks to sort this out. Currently waiting for them to add 1200pts from a survey I completed 4wks ago, they used to be a lot better years ago than they are now.

Got my receipt & transmitting points today but not my food on the ggo. Is it just me or they getting more random with adding points oon time?

Installed a few weeks ago no major problems, a bit slow at first but fine now.
It does start with Windows but you can disable that in task manager, no good looking for shop and scan as they have named it launcher.exe so disable this

I got the name wrong it is Launcher error not runtime error. Thanks for this info, I had disabled a shopandcan entry in taskmaster, but did not see the launcher error, just found it and disabled it, hope this works.
