  • Look 2000 posts! Do I now turn into a dweeb!! Thank you for lovely posts. It's so hard when you love them isnt it! Had a quiet day & cried on & off. Cancelled her pet insurance and emailed a couple of people. Still havent hoovered but will while the bath is running. Eyes hurt from crying & I had a snooze with cold flannel over my eyes. Dotty cat (Maceys daughter) sitting her purring away. The other cats are being extra loving & I know sence something. They havent seemed to have missed Macey though over the last week...guess they are just cats & they are not the brainiest bunch I have! Have sent the mortgage application away and cancelled the estate agents. Must investigate some clicks & refer a couple of people from work..Thanks for your support. Much appreciated.

    Hiya
Glad you sound a little bit better, and had a snooze. They sense, don't they, but they don't know. Cancelling the pet insurance must have been hard - there were two dreadful things, I found, after my second cat died - one was writing to catsitters and telling them, and asking them to pop the key back some time, and the other was getting rid of the cat baskets. I gave them to a charity, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done. .... they're not brainy, tho, cats, I'll give you that.

Enjoy your bath, I'll be thinking of you tonight.

Hi FF, sorry, I was so caught up in my own selfish web of numbers that I didn't come over and read your diary when you posted about Macey.

    Sorry xx

You know deep down that it is the best thing to have done, but that does not make it any easier when you have lost something so close and special to you.

Give yourself time to feel crappy, and take care of yourself......your wellbeing is what is important right now xxxxxxx

Hi fishy (I can't call you fishface affectionately, I just can't... maybe I should go with FF like taxi)

You don't *have* to be motivated today, of all days! Just be kind to yourself.

I'm shutting the computer down now- will check on this thread tomorrow.

  • Thanks all...feeling a bit better today but feel v.tired. Am home early so get to have a wee snooze before babysitting. People in work lovely and finally got email from my mum who says she's not not been thinking of me...email across the world (she is staying with an aunt in Oz) frustrating du o time difference. Managed to claw back 29 from my account from a DDM that should have been cancelled which was good! Pay day tomorrow and should pay quite a bit off this month although my sisters birthday will cost me £100 plus got the £85 cremation fees to pay & 3 cats to be vaccinated so all in all about £300 extra this month...Will just have to keep plugging away at it! At least I can get the CC with big interest paid off! This months aim is to sort out a realistic food budget for 1! May post on old style as I think I spend too much at the moment!! OK off to snooze! Hugs debtbusters!

  • Well pay's gone in and after sister birthday and cremation should manage to pay 400 inco cc's this month - with the extra 1000 so total of 1400. Highest interest card will go and the rest of the 5.4% ers. Have transferred the £50 remaining into savings already and think I'll keep doing this at the end of each month. While it's imprtant to pay the cc's off I got back into this situation because I didnt have anything to fall back on for emergencies and around we go...ok must shower & off to bed. My car sticker has arrived so will be proudly displayed! Babysitting went well & I got £27 which is great! Havent decided what to do with it yet but am definately having a bottle of wine this eve! Am on call this w/e so will get extra but it doesent come in until next month. Must update my challenge spreadsheet this week - think I'm at silver so may need to up one again for motivation! Catch up later - off to shower I go!

Good news on the babysitting money, and a bottle of wine is def required after the up and down week you have had.

I hope you have a good day, catch up with you later x
