Can you guys not utilise some of your craft stuff and make Christmas things to sell on ebay or at a local craft fayre? Might bring in some extra pennies that way, plus gives you an excuse to get crafting again?

I would love to - but I don't have the skill or time to make them as good as they would need to be to sell - my stuff is more for my own scrapbooks - so while I have boxes of photos that need scrapping, I just need to actually do it! Perhaps tonight I will dig some out to do while I watch the rugby - think I might send OH out with his mates to watch it. I know that's what he really wants to do anyway! ff - I'm sure that you could do this with your cards though? Have you sold any before now?

  • Well I saved £57 on contents so thats good! What a faff though eh! Not that I reret it but it's taken ages!!
Re the craft stuff I must sell some of it! Sea I am an avid scrapbook hoarder! I started card making & then transferred over but have never made money! I did look at doing lifestory books but nothing came of it...I have all sorts of stuff; calligraphy, sewing, painting, beading....I'll use some of the scrapping stuff but couldnt use all of it if I tried! There is someone on here who does beading & wondered if they would be interested in buying it dirt cheap but unsure who it is? Does anyone know - woud prefer to sell stuff to a DFW who can make money with it than dirt cheap to some unknown on ebay on ebay!! Anyway bread is baked; woman coming for machine is late so hope she is coming!! Wil leave it a bit & then ring her...fingers crossed!

  • grrrrrr rang as she still wasnt here at 1 and was given a long tale of b/f and an abcess. Not sure I believe it as her mum (who it was for!) didnt know anything about it - all sounds a bit suss and am hacked off at being mucked about, she could have phoned!! I told her that I'm not hanging about - if it goes before she gets back to me it goes and my gut feeling is that I'll never hear frm her again! Also looked it up & its £130 new and only used twice...I sence an ebay listing coming on! Keeping a eye on ones going at the moment!

I do have an addictive personality & really used to go for it. Used to have a sizzix but sold it! Havent done any for a while but must as do enjoy it when I start! What is your fave stash? I lve basic grey!!
Yes hypno very annoying but nowt I can do! Must investigate on ebay. The thing that annoys me is that I really didnt believe the story - just felt she couldnt be arsed! Would have been sympathetic had I believed her!!

  • Morning debt busters! Well it's 11.30 & I've been quiet busy! Woke at 8 so a bit of a lie in & was in bed by 10.30 so a good nights sleep. Finding I am really having to push myself at the moment but am looking forward to a couple of days off at the end of the week/start of wk after. I'm in court for work tomorrow am & it always makes me nervous! Then two courses - one locally & one in London that means I have to get the 5.55 train! Ugh!! Then off until Tues which will be good! It's my sister birthday next week so have got her pressie and budgetted for the spa & meal out. Freezer is stocked but do need to get a few more bits of tupperware for my soup and a few listed bits at tesco later. Going out to lunch and am taking a banana cake that I made this am (to replace the disaster of yesterdays that came out 1/2 when I turned it out!) and then on to a friend to see her new baby & just chilling this eve. Ironing is up to date as I wore jeans to work this week!! Have also made some carrot, pasta & ginger soup & need to make the beetroot & fennel one this pm! Then that's me done for the week with cooking as I can take it all out of the freezer!! Nice n easy! May go with my friend to the cinema when I'm off as I have 2 free tickets. Want to have some chill time in my time off as I seem to spend much time on here & have no fun and this needs to change - can have fun but it has to be cheap fun! Seeing as I'm here, as many are, for the long haul, I need to pace myself or it will just get depressing!! Anyway, off I go to look at vouchers bit as need to get the hang of that! Saved over £2 on the tesco shop!
