I've had to come home from my parents house cos i feel really lousy. No joke intended. I am so sleepy, and feel dehydrated and headachey. Managed to eat up some of their leftover chinese from last night 1st though. :rotfl:

Charlie was being ratty there too. Think it is cos it is too hot there. He's happily playing on the laminate now, and i have spotted some more less jumpy critters so i think i may be winning the war. Just spent another £10 on more spray though. It's cost me a bomb:rotfl: , not counting having to wash loads of things which otherwise wouldn't have needed it at the minute.

Weather currently nice, but will it stay that way???

All kitchen done, in fact everything on my list done except - ironing as there is a program I want to watch this evening and online banking as not all the sites are working - no surprises there.

Soring out all the paperwork in my study/family room. Getting PTA stuff filed ready to hand my role over - not until feb but I am loosing interest fast so want it all ready to just give to somebody else when the time comes.

PMSL... they just said on the radio the severe weather warning has been lifted.. here is torrential rain and has been for about 45 minutes.. and the drains are starting to drain VERY slowly which usually means they will soon stop!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Back from the school run with a very tired DD - it's sports & health week this week and she's been doing "special PE" :rotfl::rotfl: She's currently sitting watching Fantastic 4 again - she's suddenly got this thing for superheros

Tea is on - chicken/tomato/bean casserole - will make up some mash to go with ;) I even managed to wash all the dishes, until I cleared out the fridge & cupboard and ended up with lots of empty containers

So going by Lil_me list :

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clean floors
    Level Two
[strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/strike]
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances[/strike]
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front[/strike]
[strike]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary) [/strike] - even though not usually a Monday job as DD dropped her milk all over it this morning
    Level Three
[strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike] - N/A
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required can't reach at the minute due to plants & recycling bits.
[strike]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky [/strike]its fine.
[strike]Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week [/strike] Cleaning as I use :D
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [strike]Wipe the outside of all your small appliances (kettle, toaster etc)[/strike]
    • Clean out your vacuum cleaner, get rid of the hair from the brushes, clean the filters is they are washable and clean anything else you can like the ‘muck bucket’ etc, make sure you leave it to dry thoroughly before putting it back together.
    • [strike]Clean out the freezer, I find the vacuum cleaner is good for getting up any crumbs in the bottom or stray peas etc. Defrost it if it needs it.[/strike] - Did last week.
    • [strike]Clean under small appliances and bigger ones if you can manage it[/strike] Bigger ones are not an option, I need to be a weightlifter! I have cleared out as much as I can reach without moving them though.
Not too bad - the sugar rush from a couple of sweets I got through the post helped (sweet rewards from Sweetcollect :D ) not that I ate them all - DD is on a promise as well that if she clears her plate tonight she can have one of the sweets in her "wages" jar ;)

Right, off to change out of my damp jeans and then I'll make that mash, Cleaning the floor & window can wait until after tea ;)

Right, I need get myself motivated. I'm going to fly till five o'clock and the house is going to look fab when i'm done. Then, when DH comes in from work he can make dinner. How kind am I? Lol xx

    [STRIKE]
    Put Mr T delivery away
    Prep Veg for tea
    [/STRIKE]
Make a jelly - Not doing it, dont think the littles deserve it so there:p

Also made a huge batch of bolognaise for the freezer, DD2 helped washing the veg and chopping. We then did some sticking and glueing and then it was time to collect the monster child from hell from nursery. Yet more horribleness on the way home (fine while she was there), huge screaming fits in the garden while I picked the washing in. God knows what the new neighbours must think :o . Tried time out again but had to hold her as was going a bit phsyco. She ran round screaming for a few more minutes so just grabbed her and gave her a big hug/cuddle and told her I loved her. Calmed down pretty much straight away - kids, go figure:confused: . She now says she feels poorly but no temp so probably just worn herself out with all the horribleness. Sorry to waffle no-one else to talk to about it:o .

Right off to put BM on and stop DD2 from nodding off, 10 mins now will mean she won't fall asleep for 1 1/2 hours after normal bedtime (which I may bring forward 20 mins or so:D )

The binbag for recycling was easy peasy so number 2 might be on the agenda as well.

The charity shop bag number 1 is coming on really well.. I sorted through DD5's clothes and bagged most of them.. I also found a few bits left of mine that were needing to be flung.

Vacuumed landing.. is that Wednesdays work started?? I've done the hall stairs landing and front room already which is usually Tuesdays list.. and the loo's and bathroom which is Thursdays list.. I intend having most of this week to do the childrens rooms.

The middle room we have decided is to be the summer holiday project.. which means we drag everything out and file it or fling it lol It is to be the girls bedroom while we get their room replastered and habitable.. just a small project there.. lol

I also discovered another bag full to ebay!! *sigh*

Shell.. I have one that does the same.. she is currently putting her clothes in her cupboard which she got out.. and screeching and wailing the whole time!! I swear she isn't normal!! If she was someone elses child I would avoid any contact with her whatsoever she is just horrible.

The house actually looks like I've done something today!!

I am absolutely starving as well so I am leaving the children to it and cooking dinner. Hubby will be home shortly too so he can help a bit.

I have 3 binbags of rubbish from upstairs, 1 for charity shop and 1 for ebay.. not bad for an hours flinging!!!

Anyone any idea what to do wth a shed load of childrens VHS videos??? I doubt it is really worth ebay/amazon-ing them.

Michelle - it may be worth while going to your vets and buying Frontline Combo or Stronghold. They're spot-on flea treatments for cats but they do the environment as well so where ever the cats go in the house (leaving their skin and hair) it leaves the treatment. They are quite expensive, about £15 for 3 months worth at my vets, but they do work. HTH
