Good morning!!
Horrible rainy day here in bonnie Scotland, and poor DD1 is going camping with the Guides tonight, hope the rain stops soon. Already looked out her waterproofs and lots of warm socks.
So far I have ironed, packed for DD1, tidied living room,
to do:
Todays list
Kids rooms: Will do DD1 tomorrow since she won't be here (unless camping gets cancelled)
kitchen floor
put ironing away
WM
Happy at Home: Hope you don't get too stressed today, take a deep breath
Hope you all have a good day, hugs for you all you busy bees!! :grouphug:0 -
Quick post - do wasp traps work for flies?
Lakeland catalogue arrived today. All catalogues are called 'contentment stealers' in our house, because you didn't know you really, really, really wanted something until you saw the pictureI love Lakeland.
DS nearly pulled flap of video cabinet down on top of him last night
Pigpen - thanks for the reassurance. I should just chill. And I think it will be much better for him and me if I ask questions on here. He had a bottle at 7 (having slept through since 9 last night !!!) didn't finish it, has just flaked out, and hasn't had a solid breakfast yet. I think I'll hold out til 12, give him a lunch, give him a tea and then give him a supper. Normally he wakes around 5.30 - 6 which I thought was a bit early for breakfast. I may have to rethink how I do things again... Talk about a learning curve!
Teabags have not yet arrived, but I am still Diet Coke free.
Happyathome - good luck. I am sure it will all work out.
Lil_me - I am sure it will feel quieter today, but you have done a wonderful thing. :T:T:T:T
I have put all but the basics on hold until I clear the ironing. I expect to be working on it all weekend - but once it is done then all I have to do is 'keep up to it' (hate that phrase)
I love reading this thread - hugs to all.
HevAlways another chapter0 -

Morning all
Happyathome - I hope your day/week gets better.
Lil_me - lots of cuddles for your other two dogs, maybe they'll start a whole new relationship now.
Well, I did my bathroom and toilet last night. Why I had the energy at 10.30 pm when I couldn't be bothered all day, who knows? But I'll just go with it. I did the computer desk when I did the hallway because that's where it is. Was that Tuesday? I don't know what day of the week it is lately. I just know they seem somehow long and yet go quickly at the same time...
S & S'd the kitchen and vacuumed through there, hallway and living room. By the look of the kitchen floor the cats spent most of the night tag-wrestling.
One load of washing on the line, keep having to untangle it because it's so windy.
Been to post office. Had a letter to send to the insurance company about the car in an envelope they provided (freepost) but they said in their letter to send it recorded. Post office said you can't do that (but she didn't really convince me). I paid for it, which I didn't really mind, but I just want it to get there. DH sort of shook his head when I got back and wasn't happy - worried it won't get there. I resisted the temptation to say that perhaps he should have gone himself then. And when he went to work I had a little cry. I know it's pathetic but I'm feeling a bit pathetic this week. I get good weeks but this isn't one of them.0 -
hugs to all who need them today! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

IT IS SO COLD!!!!!!!!! I never thought I'd be saying that in July! I'm sitting here with the doors all shut (to keep the draft off as much as possible), a fleece on, the fire on high and a hot cup of coffee as my fingers are starting to go numb with cold
Awful walk back from school as 16st me was BLOWN all the way home, I have no idea how DD managed to get there in one piece
Dailies are sort of done, I can't decide on tonights tea (ATM I really fancy chippy or someother take-away) and the kitchen is too chilly ATM for me to go and wash dishes or S&S in there so it can wait until it warms up a bit! Beds & bathroom are done, and the place is tidy, if you sort of squint when you look at the desk area anyway :rotfl: and the washing is on the maiden infront of the fire finishing off. Ebay box is sitting next to me waiting for me to start editing stuff so I'm off to do that. Really don't want to as I just want to go back to bed. I'm so tired I thought it was Monday this morning
:rotfl::rotfl: Oh well, these things won't sort themselves out so bye for now
Oh and while I remember (can someone please jump start my brain as it's stalled :rotfl: )to those who need or would like some :rotfl:
to all
