    Hi everyone

Sorry been a busy day so first chance I have had to put PC on. Thanks for all the messages this morning about Holly etc, really appreciate the support.

Taking Holly to her new home was happy and sad all at the same time this morning, my son telling her he loved her etc, was very hard. I took her for a walk just on my own to say bye, cried my eyes out :o. I didn't want to in front of the boys. Anyway when I got her there she remembered my friend's Mam from the visit and she's took to her very well, I was suprised actually. I stayed almost 2 hours, having a good natter with my friend and her Mum aswell as not wanting to leave Holly until I know she was settled better. I think snuggling on her new Mum's knee on the chair said it all.

Leaving was another matter, no matter what we did couldn't distract her and I could hear her crying at the door as I went. I have very little doubt she won't settle however as she is being spoilt already. I will phone later to make sure but both my friend and her Mam have my number so if anything had happened I am sure they would have let me know by now.

My boys have only mentioned her once since I got back but we have sort of distracted them as we went fish tank shopping today, DS1 has wanted Turtles for ages, now bought a tank which is in the corner of the sitting room. That was £150 spent quickly! Filling it tomorrow, will need a few days at least to settle before we get the turtles.

Housework, sorry :o that'll have to get done tonight, have been shopping however so that is done, couple of loads of washing, not much else :rotfl: DP in bathroom now anyway so if I had done it would have to redo as he leaves it like a bomb site!!
One day I might be more organised...........

Well done to all hard working flyers. :T :T :T

Shame there are so many with piles though. Definitley not showing you a picture of mine.

Thanks Happy, just got a text back to say she's been fine and is fast asleep on her new bed. Really quiet here without her as she was the noisy and busy one, my other 2 dogs are very quiet. Going to take a little getting used to.

    Thanks for that!:rotfl:

Tip tipped, car vacc'd just as it started to rain, scrubbed inside.. something that might have once been an exploded yoghurt cleaned up. Fruit compost moved, creatures rescued. Clean car club again.

I didn't realise it was getting so late but I've done loads and feel better for it. Haaah, big sigh.

Supper to find then ironing tonight. I only have one little pile ;)

Hugs to all who want one this evening and round of applause from me for all the good things you've done today. x

Beckie, thanks. I think what makes it both harder and easier is we didn't have to part with her, the smile on her new Mam's face made it much easier to deal with, I haven't seen her smile so much since her husband took ill. I know it'll get easier, still weird that she isn't sat on my feet as she usually is when I type this. Hoping the other 2 dogs start to get on a bit better now as Holly played with them both but these 2 almost ignored each other.

Just done the list for tomorrow so that is now up, final one of the week of course but for those new to Flylady you're more than welcome to join us over the weekend. We don't do a list on the weekend days but you're more than welcome to work from your own or just join in with the usual natter over a cuppa or 3. With the week I've had I'll certainly be here catching up!

Busy day tomorrow for me again as it's DS1s visit in the morning to his new school, thankfully he seems better and so does his brother as I could do with him being back at school tomorrow, can't take him on the visit as we'll be there until lunch time ish. Need to remember to take some money with me as a big downside is he needs a new school uniform, I think the sweatshirts are £10 each but no idea on the rest. We got his place CONFIRMED in the post this morning so that's at least sorted, waiting to hear from school transport team next then that is it really :T The fight for the SEN place is finally over!

Grounded today, DS was awake a lot in the night for some reason, so absolutely worn out and feeling low. The nights are getting better, but today it felt like one step forwards two steps back. I'll do a bit of catch up at the weekend, but it all comes round again of course! My SIL came home from her holiday on Tuesday (she lives next door to us) and said "Have you re-decorated?", so the flying is making a difference.
Hugs to Lil-me, a very special thing to do for your friend's mam.
A better night, then better day tomorrow I hope.

Isn't it lovely when people notice but on the other hand scary that they can tell!!
Have been doing this three weeks now and have really noticed a different, had over a full wheely bin today of all the stuff that I have got rid of.
have found my self doing extra bits as well and the hot spots are staying tidy too.

Just a few questions for people though...
Do you hover your matteress weekly, do you recon it needs to be done this often?
How often do you clean your oven...I was thinking about doing it fortnightly to monthly.
Just read this back and I sound so lazy:o
