Depression Support Thread

Hi Guys.... & Felines....& Canines
to SF & Gilly for the good feed-back...I think there was someone else too but can't for the life of me remember who or why...:o But the congrats are for everyone who has something to celebrate:j

Heard on the news this morning that this is officially 'Blue Monday', where "depression" is most likely to manifest among the majority of the neighbourhood...so once again, we are 'normal':T :T :T

Nice to see some new faces joining our merry band---welcome & pitch in whenever you get the urge:p

I did a Tulip yesterday & walked with the waggie one & an offspring to the shop about half mile away. On the way back, I took "w.1."the long way, across some open space so he could have a good run. Surprised meself at how much I enjoyed it:o

I have to say that I agree withthe sentiments expressed so well by ILGD re:house-building...how do these numpties get away with it! When we see the news reports of flooding in other parts of the world, we always ask why they build in those places...& now they're doing exactly the same to us!!!!

Don't mind me....anything to do with officialdom is like the proverbial red rag at the moment<this is how I feel; trapped behind Jobsworths & their passing the buck..

OK folks...for now I shall just wish you Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

Well the doc has been and is putting out stronger form of painkillers and we have a plan in action, follow up planned if need be.

Now I have to get the painkillers. The friend who we have run circles for in the past can't pop me down as she's going along with her daughter to pick her granddaughter up from school. Yep, she's not going as a driver or needed in anyway, she sees them every day, just going for the ten minute ride out.

So I am now stuck hoping my neighbours aren't away with work or I may see if there's a local taxi firm who'd do a round trip with me.

I am really upset through all this how other people who have taken our help so liberally in the past can't even be bothered to do an eighth in return. Whilst it has upset me, it has made me more determined than ever to get myself driving again this year for further independence. Then when they ask me for a hand I'll tell them I'm painting my nails!
