Hes in the army so back off to Surrey for who knows how long. Once we're married I can go with him, but until then I'm stuck here. Had a good time while hes been here though so I can't complain.

Going to watch notting hill I think. I've never seen it I hope its not a weepy one...

  • hope you enjoy it! can't remember properly, but have a feeling it may be a bit sad ( i cry at most stuff though so don't take my word for it!)

I do too I especially upset myself with eastenders recently, but it was really sad. Any wedding scenes or other people doing nice things on tv make me cry for no reason!

    Just a quick hello/goodbye/happy easter/Merry Christmas 2008 etc etc.

I'm taking some time away, my head isn't right, I don't know where my life is going, I can't accept who I am, or to be more precise, my faults (which I must have to be the way I am) and neither can anyone else accept them, so the future looks very bleak and non existant at the moment. This month will be the 16th (!!) anniversary of my partners passing and between now and March is always tough and it seems to get tougher each year.

As silly as it sounds, we all have things to lift us up sometimes and Britney is my one thing, so when things are going wrong there, it just hammers another nail into my coffin, as the the thing that cheers me up, is being destroyed. I'm still enjoying all her things, but the person behind those things is looking more and more closer to the edge. This isn't the reason for my depression, it just adds to the woes!

Anyway, take care all of you and I hope to return again in the future, if and when I start to get anywhere with my pathetic waste of life that some person who has passed, could have made more of.

    Just to finish...

A farmer's field of cows had all frozen with the recent cold weather when an old lady came along.

"Here", said the old lady, "let me help you out"

She started rubbing one cow and slowly it became unfrozen.

"What the..." said the farmer to his friend

The old lady went over to the next cow and started rubbing it and that one too became unfrozen.

    "Amazing" said the farmer

The old lady continued going from one cow to the other and she unfroze them all.

    "Thank You" said the farmer

"Not at all" said the old lady, who went off on her merry way

The farmer turned to his friend and said "How on earth did the old lady do that?"

"You know who that was, don't you" said the farmers friend

    "No, who?" replied the farmer

    And the farmers friend replied

    "Thora Hird"

    ;)

Take care everyone, I hope to cross your paths again one day

Well after that slow start this morning, cracked on this afternoon. Got the house spic and span, the decs down and away. My study is so tidy and sorted I don't recognise it and I even had a go through my wardrobe. Now sat working on AQA questions (something else wonderful this site pointed me towards).

Dawn - I understand what you mean about counselling. I saw one many years ago who was a great help at that time but I felt a right prat doing some of the exercises!

Ooh and best thing I've done the last couple of years - stopped watching any soap operas! They are so miserable a lot of the time!
  • Miro, don't know what to say except i hope you can find help and support from somewhere/someone to help you gain some strength to cope with what you're going through. Will be thinking of you x

DawnyLou, sorry you're not feeling any hope for a better year..hope you get some strength to turn things around.

I'm feeling fed up and lonely tonight. it's saturday night and I'm alone (not unusual) .. but it seems like a night for doing stuff and being with people and generally having a good time. Its back to the expectations really..I know the reality of life isn't like that but its hard not to feel it x
sorry your feeling fed up and lonelytonight, it takes some getting used to dosent it? feel like that most nights, thats why i'm always on here, watched casualty earlier, that was the best part of sat night
