Hey Guys....any snow around? We've not had any this way, but was very wet yesterday so won't be going far with p-u-p cuz I can't be doing with muddy paw prints up me front today:o

Had a couple of good days, & I'm wondering if it is just coincidence  that I've been eating more veggies & fruit....any opinions folks?

Poor Miro ---hope he's OK? You know how he gets with Mz Spears......
Wondered how Rose enjoyed Hogmany, or if she's in gaol for trying to look up the Sherrif's kilt:D
Think it's about time you called into your doc ILGD...this bug has gone on way too long & u-no-hoo needs you well asap.
It's not that unusual for couples who have been together over many years, to share 'symptoms' QWB, but that doesn't make it any easier for the family who has to wait beside each bed....special :grouphug: with glittery bitsI]I've described a graphic cuz I don't know where to look for 'em....I'll camp outside your PC so I can spy on your secret stash![/I

Can't remember what I was going to say when my finger slipped yesterday, but I think of you all & offer up a few words every day to the Spirit in the Sky:o to thank you all for your continued friendship.

Keep warm, keep well & Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

Argh! Feel like I am wasting a day. Mum is suffering with a slipped disc. Got up did all the animals (currently 16 including own and foster animals) but then crawled back into bed for an hour. Not that I was unduly tired I just had one of those I want to be under my duvet moments!

Hi everyone, Horace!! I cannot believe you have bought all your pressies for next xmas???? WHAAATTTT!!! are you serious? well done!

I had 2 days in work (I managed quite well) and was informed that today i was to stay off..phased return? :T So, I have had a good day and appreciated it more because I should have been in work. Been with my son who goes back to uni on sunday..he's staying tonight and we've been playing on his xbox...fun, but I'm cr*p!

I have made an appointment to see a solicitor on tues..just for advice (expensive advice!!), so I am pleased with myself for doing something positive. Also yesterday I set up online banking, which I've never done before..never done anything to do with finances actually..so its all new and scary.

Hope you peeps lurgy is on the way out, love antronella x

It is true - all girlie Christmas presents are bought for 08 - I even got some before Christmas 07:eek: I hit the sales and used BOGOFs or the Avon offer 5 bath products for a fiver with a code for free delivery. In fact, I have so much stuff I shall use them as Birthday presents too.

Great news that you have been allowed a phased return and for sorting out your internet finances. As for the Xbox - if all else fails cheat!:D

Spoke to an ex colleague last night and I am meeting her and her g/f for dinner later today. In fact, they might pick me up because I cannot drive at night due to my eye problems. Went to bed last night at about 1am but was still awake at 2.30 listening to the folks downstairs chatting and the girls upstairs doing who knows what:o Eventually woke up at 5.30am feeling odd - achy and a bit sniffly plus my tummy keeps rumbling - just hoping that I haven't caught that wretched virus. Lazed on sofa in front of telly most of morning - cobbled together a soup which is cooking in my slow cooker. Made an appointment to get my roots done at the hairdressers next weekend - my grey is putting in an appearance and I dont like it. Need lots of sleep as I have to be up extremely early on Monday morning - need to have my first day in new job in London and have to be at my local railway station for 7am (it is about 15-30 minutes walk from my flat - I have to keep to the brightly lit roads and think of my route). The silly peeps changed the time from 8am because of the engineering works at Rugby - trains were running normally yesterday as I found out from one of the girls upstairs who works for a train company.

Just vegging out today, tried on my new skirts that I bought yesterday - with elasticated waists because my tummy expands and shrinks throughout the day (plus I am getting fat!). They look ok and I am quite pleased with them.

Feel a bit more positive today but that could be that the sun is out for the first time in weeks:D Also a tad scared about my new job but hey ho, it might be paying a heck of a lot less than my last one but at least I can walk to work.

    Hope y'all have a good day today.:D

    Cya tomorrow

Bek..bet there isn't one person on here who hasn't experienced this! I have them regularly!! (only they're not what I call moments..more like hours) Hope you're feeling bit brighter x (hope your mum isn't in too much pain..slipped disc is nasty)
