Well, the no smoking lasted just under 24 hours :o I woke up this morning desperate for a ciggy and by lunchtime I was in an awful state..crying etc and in panic. My friend happened to ring while I was like it and she was there in 10 mins with a pack. After talking it through, I think I may be trying to take too much on before I'm strong enough mentally. I'm back at work wed and can't afford to go backwards in any way. So I'm going to concentrate for now on trying to get back to work and worry about the cigs a bit later..(feel disappointed in myself though).

Limana, welcome x you will gain a lot of support here..but please make that appt with your GP and let us know how you get on.

Happy Birthday Meyore!! so sorry you're not feeling good (in body and mind) maybe you should see doc too? And hope BMF is feeling bit better, also Steph and anyone else feeling rotten.

QWB, hugs to you, hope you managed to remember all your happy memories of your mum x

Gilette, glad you had a good time over xmas..well hope you did! Chocolates are a hazard of xmas...I have a HUOWGE tin of Roses, box of celebrations and a box of thorntons continental to get through. Managing quite well so far :D You never know..you may enjoy your night out NYE...go for it!

Did you get to the cinema Shaz?

Juno, what's the news on the promotion?!!!

Hope everyone else is ok tonight. My kids bought me an exercise ball for xmas so I'm going to blow it up now (with a pump!) and then try and work off some choccies!!
Thankyou I'm feeling a lot better now than I did yesterday and earlier. I haven't really suffered that bad with my anxiety in years and it was a very scary feeling. I'm going to have to see the doctor-although this has flared up because I'm ill, its always there under everything.

I have one of those exercise balls-they're dangerous...! You're there using it, thinking "this is ok, doesn't hurt a bit..." Its the next day you wake up and you can't move! :rotfl:

    Mornin......yaaawwn .......anyone else surfacing yet?.........sss-tt-r-airr-ch! ...

So another day trying to dawn, with a little tingle in the knee dept.. ..R Knee methinks...probably be a bit damp later then.

:bdaycake:Meyore, for yesterday...hope you're feeling better real soon:o You must be really special to have the whole world celebrate your b'day with a party:rotfl:

Hey..it's good to see some old faces popping in for a quick Howdy-doo-dee, & I say 'old' cuz I couldn't think of a nicer alternative.....no reflection on personal appearance or age of course putting pot of anti-wrinkle cream on prominent display:p

It's nice to see some newbies too, if you see what I mean:o Depression is a selfish entity that unfortunately makes up the rules as it goes along, hoping to catch us out & send us sliding further down the road to the Black Hole. Together on here, we can mend the chinks in our armour to keep the beast at bay....there's always someone at the smithy keeping the forge well stoked, so just come on in & we'll give you an estimate for the repairs:wink:

Hope you call in again Limana I think you've been unfortunate to miss some of our resident night-owls...Miro, Slowly & Rose in particular...& in my case the offspring are either on the pooter when I fancy having a chat, or using a console if there's a programme I would have watched on the tv! Does that make them awkward or is it me again:p

Hope you have a good-as-poss end to December, & I will wish you & yours a healthier & happier 2008.

    Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

PPS..QWB, where do you find your wonderful graphics? Perhaps my quest for January will be to experiment more.....if I'm not back by March send in the sniffer dogs!!!
