Hi Guys....before I forget, Casualty is on again tonight!

Well, I'm going to brave the outside world in a few minutes:p I've phoned me muvva & we're going for a wander around our weekly open air market. Not sure there will be much there, but at 83 she needs something that will keep her interested enough to keep moving:o There's a nice tea bar that has got to know us.....that sounds bad doesn't it, cuz we don't go that often!...& we share a hot dog:rotfl:cuz they're good enough to cut it in half & put onions in my bit! Kinda restores your faith in humanity when folk are prepared to go just that little bit out of their way to help:o

Enjoy the cinema Shaz...my eldest has offered to take me one evening next week but can't remember what it was we said we would see:doh: Obviously need to read my sig more often:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I watched Westlife The Greatest Hits this morning between 9am-10am so that was nice charging up my dslite and its taking an age,its been charged since the time I got up and still isnt done yet as the light is meant to go out when its fully charged and hasnt as yet,Just ordered a dvd called Notes on a Scandal from Play.com so that is all my prize money spent now and I am happy I am off to my parents today,seeing friends on New Years Eve for a drink then back to my parents for the night

Hi everyone. :hello:

Just wanted to say hope your Christmas was peaceful or uneventful or whatever you wished it to be. Had a hard one, first one without mum, but we all pulled together for the day, she would have wanted that.

I am having a quiet new year's eve. Some food from M&S and a bit of telly. Had enough excitement for one year. Saying that, have a funeral on 11 Jan of my friend's husband, need to get her through that.

im here but not for long.trying to fight the good fight re the lurgy.
ethel....lovely to hear from you. youve been missed as always.i agree with you about your mum.....thats the point, as i see it, shes your mum and she doesnt know your exs wife from adam so how does she know if shes just a good actress and has been trained by your ex to say all the right stuff.am glad to hear also that your children are back ,even for a while.

hi to tiff and shaz and gemini and antronella and lou . and feelie and miro and rose and dawny....and every one whose name escapes me, though never on purpose....memorys bad at best of times but this flus made it muddle up even more.

am so glad that i found this thread and throughout this year, ive been so privileged to meet you all, and been humbled by some of your life experiences.you have all enriched my life and id like to thank all of you.heres to a better 2008...well be stronger if we stick together.......
although for the mo ill keep my distance due to the lurge!!!!

Been a not very good couple of days. I've come down with this fluey thing everyone seems to getting and its messing with my head too. Haven't been able to leave the house or even get out of bed because my body aches so much, just shuffling around when I have to.

Last night I couldn't breathe right so I started getting a bit anxious and was having really horrible thoughts. I tried to take my mind off it, but nothing worked. I hate feeling like this like I'm losing control. Usually I can control this stuff, but feeling so rubbish I can't. Today I don't feel much better.

Its my birthday and I'm too ill to even get out of bed, so I'm just sitting here getting worked up again. Not as bad as yesterday at the moment, but I'm going to worry myself into it at this rate.

I'm worried, I had to admit to OH how I'm feeling and I don't want him to think I'm a lunatic. He says he doesn't, but I'm still scared. I think I'm going to have to see my doctor, something I've been putting off for ages because I thought I was coping. But clearly I'm not am I? I know a lot of it is down to me being ill, but I need to sort it I think.

Sorry to go on I just hoped it'd make me feel better letting it out a bit.
