Just saw your post about your son.

We are all thinking of you and it sounds as if he is rallying a bit.

I don't know how to do the cute pictures so will just send this:grouphug:

  • Hello everyone x I don't post often on here but I do read the posts most days and hardly one of those days passes without me being reduced to tears by them. That is not necessarily a bad thing.. mostly it's because of the huge support everyone offers each other...there is a real community spirit here. Anyway..I want to offer all good thoughts to Ethel, and I so hope there is better news today about your son. I can only imagine how I would feel if that were my boy lying in ITU. Also all the good thoughts I can muster for everyone who's going through a bad time right now. I am due back in work in just over a week and I am so worried I'm not going to be able to cope with it. I can't get through the day without crying...often at the most inappropriate times. It just comes over me and I can't control it. I don't know whether to go back to the doctor..think he will suggest anti d's again and I had such bad experiences when I was on them last time. Anyway...thanks to all on here who offer such warmth to others even when they are going through s**t themselves...and hugs to all those that can't support at the moment cos they're too low. What goes around..comes around xx
  • Ethel, so sorry your having such a terrible time. Sending you loads of hugs to you and all your family.Love to you all

Maybe it would be a good idea to have a visit with your doctor before going back to work. They might suggest ad's, but there are loads of other options. Most doctors don't like to prescribe meds if they can refer you to counselling instead.

Hope you find it ok going back to work, hopefully it'll be one of those things that when you get there, you find it easier. Like stage fright, it passes when you actually get on stage.

    *hugs*

    Lisa x

P.S - I completely agree with what you said about the amount of support and caring on this thread; I've only been around for a short while, but it's been lovely to see how supportive people are.

I am justified in raiding the smartie cupboard....I had a carp day yesterday:o

Why is it when big organisations mess up, they always blame you for not noticing?!??!?! Four lots in three weeks has made a deep valley in what was a ploughed field that is my confidence. And as others have said, they do not realise how debilitating this invisible grindstone of depression can be.

So today, I'm going to put my dictionary & thesaurus cap on & compose the snottiest letters I can muster:D Might have to open the cat-flap to consult the Tiffster, so be on your guard:eek:

I lurve dat bid poodie-tat Gem, I wish we could have one live with us but we're :shhh: allergic to cats!..:embarasse..Don't tell Tiff ...N Eeyore is my very faverittist 2, so I hope Ethel doesn't mind me looking at her hugs:eek: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Here's hoping Fursday brings you a smile, & Peaceful MInds folks.x
