Sorry Ethel forgot to mention about the alarm. We use our mobiles but have them on vibrate as well as the tone and its so bloody annoying and loud if you put it on a hard surface there is no way you would sleep through it. ;)

Yep.. ours are the same.. and we set both phones too :o

    :hello: Everyone,

Morning! Hope you are all well :) I am fine, off to my parents today for lunch :) I go to college tomorrow again to my pottery course which starts at 10am  I can never wake early so tonight I must set my alarm clock in case I oversleep and I will get my parents to ring me as well as a backup, they are good to me :) I have to leave an hour early from home in order to be there on time as well :) I must do my food list tonight as well in order to take tomorrow for after the course and also get my money out as well.Havent won yesterdays Darts game, its still on today if anyone wants to play at woolworths.co.uk you need to register first,it ends at 6pm tonight, instructions on how to play are there too :) Must go now to see if I can get in another game or I will play this afternoon depends on when I can get in the queue as its full so fast with so many people wanting a go :)

Good Luck for the doctors appt today Cnsmm

Phoned for a doctors appointment, but she isn't in till Monday. She seems to be having a lot of time off at the moment.

Anyone got any tips on how to make time go faster? I think I might just go back to bed.

Anyone got any tips on how to get up everyday and carry on as if you are normal? Does depression ever go away? How can I stop feeling like a complete and utter failure? I sit on the garden step and just stare into space imagining what it would be like to have a life without depression. To have a life where you can look forward to each day instead of dreading each day.
Life is like a box of chocolates, ya never know what yer gonna get ;);)

Karrie - have you spoken to your doctor about how you are feeling?

To be honest, the only thing you can do is force yourself to do everything you are suppose to, even though you don't want to and even though it hurts. Write yourself a list of what needs to be done each day - get up, wash, dress, eat healthily, get some exercise and do nice things for yourself.

Not much help I know. Talking about how you feel seems to help some people.

In AA, they recommend that we 'get out of ourselves' and help someone else - do you think that would help?

Sorry to hear you are feeling low. Feel free to talk about it if you want :)

I went into my local shopping centre today. Bought quite a few things, mainly for Christmas.

Bought no Britney goodies today, although I did buy a newspaper and a couple of magazines with her in, specifically to take out the articles and add to my huge collection.

I am about to look on eBay to see if any bargains, but not many these days as I have most of it :o

The day hasn't been too bad, saw a bit of Britney on TV, her new song about 5 times...I think the fact she is 'back' so to speak, in a musical way has cheered me up and we all have to enjoy the things we do too the max, especially when we are prone to low moods.

Hope everyone is well and that tomorrow brings good things :)

Hi Miro:hello: I don't know if you are into slogan t-shirts but i spotted a "leave Britney alone" one on chargrilled .co.uk

Morning All......Tulip was right; everyone was sooooo quiet yesterday. Hope that's a good sign---everyone busy doing things I mean.

I too stare into the ether & watch my life being lived as I hoped it would. But I try not to beat myself up about it, cuz I think we all need a little glamour & personally that's the only way I can afford it cash-wise:o I come back to earth & think how nice it would be to have that life-style, but then start listing the pitfalls that could go with it:D along the lines of cooking dinner for the boss; worrying if M&S will have the exact shade of scented candle to go in the bog & being seen in Harvey Nix when the sales are on:rotfl: :rotfl:

One idea about the alarm clocks, is to put one of the old style windy-uppy ones on a metal tray, & when it goes of it amplifies the sound
reckon it would work with the mobiles on vibrate too
oohoohooh....& put it just out of reach so you have to get up to turn it off. But I'm just as bad about having to get up vs laying in, & it's damned annoying innit!

Hope today is kind to us all, & wishing you Peaceful Minds. BMFx
