I went into my local shopping centre today. Bought quite a few things, mainly for Christmas.

Bought no Britney goodies today, although I did buy a newspaper and a couple of magazines with her in, specifically to take out the articles and add to my huge collection.

I am about to look on eBay to see if any bargains, but not many these days as I have most of it :o

The day hasn't been too bad, saw a bit of Britney on TV, her new song about 5 times...I think the fact she is 'back' so to speak, in a musical way has cheered me up and we all have to enjoy the things we do too the max, especially when we are prone to low moods.

Hope everyone is well and that tomorrow brings good things :)

Stuff is  - :rotfl: - Not so bad at the moment. Nothing happening, been spending all my time on Britney  If only she knew who I was and how great we would be for each other ;) :rotfl:
It's good to see you enjoying some things hun :T, even if they are britney related.
I'll try & see where you are on the list to get cured of this britney fixation - then it'll be straight down to the vets for ''the operation'' for you, young man! ;)

Your replies are far more involved and sensible than anything that I could muster as i'd keep messing up :p Your replies are gratefully received by us all :p
Thanks for the kind words miro, but what I said is true.

Tiffster!!! how's you hunny? wanna talk about what's bothering you? you listen and help all of us but when you need it, you don't let us do the same for you... nawtee tiffy!!

As for that thing you pulled.. I'm sure we can get you a livelier one than that ;)

Update.. Daughter is not talking to me or my mum because we've refused to take her home. She told me she doesn't want me to attend any meetings or visit her or anything and she's just very very angry with my mum. I can understand it but what else could we do? So we're feeling terrible really.

On top of that I'm bloody shattered.. first week back at uni and on top of that our office co-ordinator resigned so I'm trying to learn the important bits of her job in case we don't find a replacement quickly enough.. which is highly possible because out of 75 applications for the handyman job.. only 2 were vaguely suitable  although some of the applications were hilarious to read.. one of them was a pastor who said the lord would provide him with the skills for the job as and when he needs them :rotfl:

On a sidenote.. can anyone recommend a good alarm.. we keep sleeping through both of ours and then being late

    Morning!
Autumn sun is beginning to peek over next door's fence...I love all the seasons for different reasons. It's the colours of autumn & the crisp, weak sunshine; snuggling up in a big jumper on a winter's evening; the world waking after it's hibernation in spring & the glorious sunrise & sunset of summer....old softie innt I?:o

Miro, I've just counted up & it's just over 10 weeks till christmas:eek: I have no idea what to get for folks, but luckily we decided a couple of years ago we decided as a family,to limit gifts to £20 per person. It has worked quite well, & for my part helps to alieviate the guilt of not being able to provide all I would like to the offspring:o We're mulling over the 'secret santa' idea of picking a name out of a hat & spending £80 on that one person--so instead of getting 4x£20 jumpers, you could get a car stereo or decent jacket, but it would still be from all of us.

I'm an awful mum, cuz I've never given the offspring individual advent calendars; but even now they are in their twenties, we have the ritual parading of the chocolate each evening once they've opened their window:rotfl: One year, I thought I'd better get a 'grown up' calendar & it was one of those with the weenie mars & bounty etc.....I've gone back to the chocolate disc type tho, cuz one poor child got all the less palatable chocs & was most displeased!

Hope today brings you something good, my friends.

Sorry...started the bove post & me muvva phoned, so it took a lot longer than I'd thought!
Juno..you will be OK! There are too many of us for you to ignore, so hang on in there & 'The One' will come along when you're not looking......
Ethel.. I totally agree with you over Tiff, & have put p-u-p in charge of the catnip!! As for alarm clocks....my lot use the most annoying ring tones on their mobiles, so if they don't hear it, someone else tells them to turn it off!
Tiff..give him a cup of tea & send him on his way! How dare he take all the sofa......

lol mumma, that's what we do........ but.......... we just sleep on thru it
When I was a kid I had an alarm clock radio thing and it had a buzzer setting.. that could wake the dead!! I think I'm gonna have a look if they still do those.

Tis bloody typical tho, when I don't need to be up I'm awake by 5.30 and up by 6.. now that I need to be up.. I'm sleeping like a baby, lol

    have a good one :)

  • Sorry Ethel forgot to mention about the alarm. We use our mobiles but have them on vibrate as well as the tone and its so bloody annoying and loud if you put it on a hard surface there is no way you would sleep through it. ;)
