I'm pretty miserable. Following the dosage instructions for the diazepam, but its only just taking the edge off. I still want to curl up into a ball and die :-/

Having an internal battle in my head. Its arguing over what I can do to feel better, which is best, wether I can get away with it etc.

The doctor can't do anything apart from prescibe me more diazepam, so there really isn't any point going back :-/ I'll just feel worse that I asked for help and there wasn't anything they can do.

    Hi guys!:hello:
    How are we all?
Sorry I wasn't around in the a.m. - had a bit of a tussle at Tiffy Towers last night.rolleyes.gif

For what it's worth, I want to send out just a Tiff thought and special hugs out to both fg and sf and anyone else it may apply to...

When we hit that low point, everything grows into huge proportions. This is when our heads get the busiest - full of what ifs and I can'ts and a list of things that just refuse to make sense. What we have to remember is that it's not real thinking.

I'm not preaching guys, but this is just the time that we need to physically stop ourselves from this kind of thinking.

The best way to do this, is to distract yourself with something that needs concentration or focus. This isn't saying that what you're feeling isn't right in any way - I can hear how you're struggling.

I'm trying to say that if you both look back at your recent posts, you can see where you hit a low point, and then came back up again!

You know this is a temporary hitch and that you're too special to be hurting like this. You both make a difference
    here.

If it gets too much, please phone your gp, or The Samaritans or A&E feelie. hug.gif
And get that bookmarked page open sf.hug.gif

This kind of hamster wheel of thinking in our heads is our illness talking guys - not how we really are. Concentrate on trying to remember that.

Please try and keep calm, relaxed and find a distraction - preferably one with an actual positive visible result (baking, drawing, crossword, sewing etc).

You know where we are if you need us and please believe that you're not the only ones that go through this and we all know how hard it can be.grouphug.gif
