    :hello:

I had a bad day at work today. I swear my supervisor hates me. Henceforth, she will therefore be known as "evil !!!!! woman". Evil !!!!! woman wouldn't let me have my break til 2.30 when I work 8-4, and she yelled at me because I had to cover on the tills for a while. Next time, I'll just tell the customers to go away shall I?!

WOW - 13hrs without any depression - great!

I dunno what other people's excuses are but I know sazzy is running for charitee. I am v proud. If they held a get off the sofa for charitee then I could join it. But I can't g'tee that I'd make the full getting off.

This weekend is special because I'm now a working man and I only get the weekend to do stuff. Yesterday was recooperating, today shud be jobs day. I have put a plug back on the washing m/c and done 2 loads, washed up, tidied kitchen a bit. I really need to do the lawns as another week will turn them into jungle. But my back is playing up and it may be too hot. I will leave it til 6pm and see if I can risk it.

I have a very important week.
My life is like a bus stop. Nothing for ages, then 6 busses at once.
The latest thing is.......I have been offered another job!!
Nowt for 9 mths then 2. I am meeting them tuesday to see what they are offering. Both jobs have plus and minus.

    London job
I am already there. Like it. Possible promotion. Very interesting job. On the job training. But 2 hrs travel each way (and costly).

    Didcot job
Unknown. Cud be bit boring. Will pay for H&S Diploma. Only one hr travel each way. But as I say less interesting possibly.

I am hoping to trade them off against each other over money coz both jobs are low paid (compared to what I used to earn). But I am probably going to stay with the London one. I can't believe I am choosing the long haul travel option but I just like the idea of working on the Olympics. And I just have this thing for the construction industry.

My kitchen plans have ground to a halt. Time problems and the fact that I need some leccy bits and bobs and they don't open the weekend. It's always the same. No money or no time!!

I hope you are ok. You don't seem quite as vocal as usual and I hope it isn't an indication of something. You are very special (not special needs) xxx

  • Morning Katie and Gillette, nice to see you both posting.

Enjoy the arty stuff later Katie, that sounds really interesting! Seems we have a few arty people on the thread, what with jewellery classes and engraving!

Quiet day for me here, going to catch up on some more reading and keeping busy. Just focusing on the next thing I've got to do and not thinking too far down the line. Off to another AA meeting tonight, not looking forward to the nerves, but I'mleanring to do things in spite of them. Off to the doctors tomorrow to get weighed, and I've got my assessment. I expect the assessment will be a little emotional, going over my problems, but gotta be done I suppose. Its nice to be taking action finally.

Hope all is well with everyone.

  • Afternoon all :hello:

Well, its raining....still.....so I'm feeling a bit down, but at least I know that it may be better weather in the morning. I'm tired as well because one of my little old ladies buzzed me very late to say her night carer had not turned up. I couldn't get hold of anyone so I told her I would help her get ready for bed and sit up in her sitting room in case she needed anything. Luckily for me, a replacement carer turned up about 2am so I was able to get some sleep!

Big hugs to everyone whos having a bad day, I haven't really read through since I got back, but I'm thinking of everyone! :grouphug:

    Hi guys

Been feeling pretty good lately and getting on with my OH.

I do worry about writing about things being good, as in the past, it has been the good before a cluster of very bad. But we have had 10 years of bad but has been easing off this last month. I swear some properties are cursed.

I don't mind the rain, nice and cosy if staying in. I don't like the summer, people go in their gardens and bother me with their noise, and flies/wasps/other insects annoy me.

The only things bothering me now is that I'm putting on weight, my OH weight and I keep getting HUGE spiders in my room at night which puts me off sleeping:eek:

Just under 3 weeks to our holiday.
    An average day in my life:hello: :eek::mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T :o :rotfl: :rotfl: :p :eek::mad: :beer:
I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.
