 Ev'ree Peeps! Had a good day?
I admit that I'm totally confused by who has said what, cuz the bl@sted modem keeps switching itself off:mad: Or else we've got ghosts:eek: :rotfl:
Big WELL DONE to those who made an effort today---that's the biggest hurdle. It doesn't matter what you did, just be proud of yourself for having a go at doing it!
To those who feel below par, you know where we are when you're ready,:o & that you have lots of huggles to keep you going in the mean time.
It seems weird that the majority of us will visit when we are at our lowest, & only post when feeling brighter. You'd think it would be the other way round, & asking for help....or is that just me? Us homo sapiens are a complex muddle inttus:rotfl:
No2 will have to have an MRI cuz the xrays didn't show anything, but is going back to work next week on strictly Light Duties to see how he gets on. Watch this space as they say..
Peaceful Minds folks. BMFx

:j Tulip! That's wonderful! & Well Done You on doing so well!:grouphug:
Morning to All--hope you had a peaceful night. Think we had a little rain here, but I'm not even thinking about me knees today cuz I'm going to a wedding. Up till Thursday evening, I wasn't going! It's one of those family stories about them never putting themeselves out for my brood but laying on the guilt when it comes to theirs. I've always been torn about going, cuz I know it's the parents fault  the cousins didn't mix...if you see what I mean.
So if you'll excuse me, I need to call a plasterer & miracle worker to give me a sporting chance of not being mistaken for one of the church gargoyles! :rotfl:

Morning all. Postman woke me up and its nice and sunny so decided to stay awake.
Been thinking about last nights meeting, which left me feeling a little down. It was a great meeting, but I think it was just too large for me (30+). I'll stick with my little group for now. I'm trying out a couple more meetings, on Sunday and Monday I think. I just hate the feeling of walking in there, the tightness in the chest, dizziness and pain. I've had it so long now, I forget that other people don't feel like that all the time!
Managed to do some reading yesterday, which is fab. My concentration isn't what it used to be, but I'm making the effort and reading a little at a time. Don't know if I'll get back to a book a day any time soon.
Silly lettings agent didn't turn up yesterday. No phone call or email, I just waited in and he didn't show. I think I'll ignore his calls for a few weeks, if he bothers that is. I'm not going to be put out by him.
Boring weekend here as OH is busy studying for an exam. Means I've got to entertain myself. Was hoping to feed the ducks, but I'll lie on the sofa and sleep instead.
Hows everyone doing this morning?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Morning all :hello:
BMF hope you have a lovely day at the wedding.
Tulip its lovely to have you back :grouphug:
Feeling good sorry you asked yesterday what evening classes i'm doing I just noticed, its jewellery making, thought it might be a bit fidley, but looking forward to it now. I just wanted something with no exams etc. Sorry I must have missed a post, but what meetings are you going to? I'm struggling with the reading too, I used to read a book in a couple of days, now i can only do 2-3 pages at a time, i'm hoping I can manage more soon too. Hope you have a good day. Someone was supposed to be coming to cut our hedge, but hasn't turned up...why don't people say they are not coming?
love and hugs to all

Hi Zippy!
It seems that a lot of people are a bit casual with arrangements. I was taught that if you make an arrangement, you stick to it. You don't cancel cos something better came along, and if you really can't make it, you phone as soon as possible to apologise and explain. Society is definately changing!
I've just started going to AA meetings, which is really scary. My Mum has been in AA for a long time, and as we've always just refered to them as 'meetings' I end up writing that lol. I've been out of the house very little in the past two years, so its a huge achievement to actually go out somewhere where there is other people!
Jewellery making sounds fab, hope you enjoy it! Let us know what its like.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
Well done for going FG, I can imagine how hard it must have been. Trying a few different ones is a good idea, you need to feel comfortable there. TRy not to feel down about it, be proud of yourself for going and i'm sure you will find the right group :grouphug:0
