Depression Support Thread

Morning everyone, hows things?

The funeral went ok, I dosed myself up so I coped with it. It was still pretty hard. Its a shame really, I used to be fine at family gatherings and stuff. Also gave me and OH a chance to talk, 10 hours in the car over two days. He admitted that he doesn't think I've got real depression, and that I'd get better if I made more of an effort. I think he is probably in denial. I discussed AA meetings with him again, and I shall be off to my first one this week. Only hope the stress doesn't make me drink!

Beautiful day here today again

I went to a new depression support group last night that had just started near me and no one else turned up. I've decided to stick it out though and see if hopefully it gets going in the following weeks.

A depression support group sounds like a great idea, I hope more people decide to join, sounds like a great thing.

Enjoy the sunshine. I've got the curtains closed, as there is someone putting up a fence in my garden. Its been 7 months, but soon I will be able to go out in the garden again! Its been really tough going this long without being able to go in my garden.

Yes hopefully the group will grow as apparently there has been nothing in the area for 4 years, I don't think they have done enough to advertise it.
