    I've decided to give up alcohol. It really does have a bad effect on me.

    Good evening all

    (((((andi, gillette, sf, tulip, bmf, juno and tao)))) and everyone else who needs one after today.

    Lovely pics Tiff, glad you had a good day at the wedding. I'm dreading my brother's wedding!

    Well, the St John's Wort seems to be working *knocks on wood*, OH and I haven't had an arguement for at least a week :rolleyes: and he seems a lot calmer too. Haven't managed to get him to agree to try it yet. Its lovely and sunny here, wonderful after such a wet weekend.

    Hope everyone has a peaceful evening

    Just pondering---as I have done on & off all day---is there a connection between over indulgence of the grape & grain & Barclay James Harvest? But then I'm probably getting confused with Bachmann Turner Overdrive!

    I have a wide & varied taste in music---I saw most of Nigel Kennedy playing The Four Seasons yesterday, & put The Who into my stereo today:rotfl: But I find different music does different things to my moods, likewise a beautiful sunrise/sunset or windswept stormy beach. Anything can lift my spirits or crash me to the depths--I'm not one to follow the 'norm'.......NO one will EVER tell you I'm normal:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Just a thought, but has anyone tried T'ai Chi? I'd love to give it a go, coz it seems about the speed my body could cope with! Always the last to be picked for sport unless it was tug of war:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Yes did it a couple of times (funny that I was always ion last 2/3 to be picked for sports too).

    it is excellent - and in several ways:

    It can take your mind off things...ehm no correction it DOES take your mind off things.

    It is excellent for balance , mobility and your joints.

    It is VERY calming too

    Highly recommend it :beer::D

    Please stop using the word "of" when you actually mean "have" - it's damned annoying :mad:
