am literally just off the plane from majorca and must admit they did have a huge basket of doughnuts at breakfast every morning and i did find myself with the odd one or two in my mouth  so am now in quandry whether to weigh myself now or wait till doctors tomorrow. doctor has put me on a tablet called orlistat to help with removing fat from system so she does a monthly weigh in which is due tomorrow. last month it was 114 kgs biggest ever reliably informed is 18 stone which means i have gained 6 stone in total since becoming disabled with back 3 years ago. i must admit i was pretty horrified when i saw myself in swimwear with saring in the mirror in the lift. didnt have doughnut after that i can tell you. did feel really dtermined though that i would not have a 3rd year abroad looking and feeling like a beached whale. surely i can sensibley lose 6 stone by next summer, i cant face looking like this anymore. even banned son from taking any pics of me and when he took what he thought would be a nice surprise one of me and hubby when i was not looking i really went mad. husband is 10 stone and i looked like if i leaned any further on him i would have killed him. so glad i joined lose weight 13. apologies for not writing more besides initially asking to join but have felt so low about things been refusing to go out or talk to anyone. holiday was supposed to be just what i needed but it has only made me feel worse. lovely dark brown tan and dont want to go out and show anyone. first time ever on hols actually heard girls snigger when i approached pool. hope doctors goes well and well done everyone else for all your losses :T

laught16oh4.gif thanks for that delly it really perked me up. Believe me you're not alone and feel free to vent away here not-tagged-smiley-14571.gif I hope you have a great holiday...

.....petrichor, you can't imagine the times I got halfway through one comment or another about delly's boobs after she posted that, and then deleted it because of 'wanting to be a good boy'. I'm amazed I managed to ultimately leave the subject alone

    Hi homealone

Well done for coming straight to us here:T That's the best thing anyone can do when coming back from a holiday and don't worry about weighing yourself now. Stop thinking about those pathetic girls by the pool, they aren't worth the wasted effort. Wait until tomorrow when you've been to the docs and then decide on a plan that is suitable to you, make sure it's one that you can stick to so ensure that you don't deprive yourself of everything that you like otherwise you'll soon get bored with it. By doing that and staying with us here, by the time your holiday rolls around next year you will be 6 stone lighter :j

    Good luck at the docs

ps if ajax asks to see your white bits, just ignore him, he's been a naughty boy all weekend :rotfl:
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Or do what I do - pull your lower eye lid down and shown him the white's of your eyes! :D

    Today.........Courgette gratin
    Tuesday......Stuffed peppers
Wednesday..Something cheesey (you know what I mean:p ) is that a euphemism for fish fingers? :D
    Thursday.....Quorn lamb and butterbean stew
Friday.........Something fishy (look! just watch it!)

...Don't laugh, it was hard to get this far :rotfl: ...

That sounds really good and reminds me that I should be doing mine for this week, and I forgot to post last weeks, so here goes:

Thurs - fish fingers, peas and SW chips :p
Fri - pork chop with mustard gravy
Sat - ham salad with new potatoes
Sun - Roast chicken, roast potatoes, broccoli and carrots
Mon - smoked haddock, sweet potato mash, vegetable medley (baby corn, asparagus, sugar snaps and broccoli)
Tues - cajun chicken, roast vegetables, SW chips
Wed - roast vegetable pasta bake

I bought some of that Cathedral City light, and it's very good, so I'll push the boat out on Wednesday and have 42g each instead of 28g. :D

Right better motivate DH to start thinking up some suggestions. We refer to them as suggs, but that means something completely different here! hehe

I shall be adapting a recipe that I cut out of a newspaper a year or so ago. As I'm still new to quorn I want to make sure that I have it in something tasty so it'll be a bit of an experiment, instead of using lamb shoulder I'll be using 2 Quorn Lamb Style Grills. When I do it on Thursday I'll put the recipe on the recipe thread if it turns out to be a success :o.
tesco have pear pickling porkeys and polly pineapples on BOGOF...
