  • hmm so i gave in and had a bit of choccy... 4 bits so about 20 grams, not too bad but back on the wagon for the next week again.

the devil made me do it i wish i had your will power with all the exercise. rather than weighing yourself and feeling down, perhaps you should start to take measurements and see if you notice the inches coming off rather than the lbs?

    I too am a veggie :)

Maybe MissEmmylou, I would like to shed some pounds too. Never been this heavy before. I quit smoking about 4 months ago, and I think that has caused much of the weight gain.

So it is official lots of people down at the moment must be that awful rain. I hope none of my Lose Weight Friends are affected - really horrid to look at on the TV.

Glad you came back Devil made me do it I think your rutine in the gym sounds fine and hopefully with your shape changing you will begin to see the new "slimmer" you emerge.

jojilufc well done for the exam being over - it that it for the Summer?

I have been good and bad this weekend. Worked out that since Sunday last week I have played 4 1/2 rounds of golf. Mostly bad golf and i am now hitting hcp 20 which is a bit sad.
Drinks wise I was totally on target to meet my 7 glasses a week but had a blowout Saturday and I cant actually remember how many glasses I had. If I discount that I proably had 5 glasses over the rest of the week.

Going on holiday on Thursday so will try to stay off it totally until then.

Oh and by the way I got batteries for my scales - I have lots 1lb. Edit just checked my signature I have actually put on 1lb in the last two weeks

The discussion about OH and their possible addiction it struck a cord with me too. DH drinks every night and it does worry me. He has recently cut down a bit which means instead of 4 or 5 sherry's before dinner he now has 2 small beers. Then a few glasses of wine and a few more bottles of beer. It is not great but at least he does not get raving drunk. He has also starting wearing nicotine patches and cut down from 35-40 to 10-12 a day which I am pleased about. I really think he needs to put on weight he weighs 65 kilo and is 180cm tall.

Anyway enough worries for now a whole lovely new week awaits us. Take care all and be good.

weighed myself this morning, lost what looks like 4 or 5lbs this week so going to say 4lbs to be on the safe side. i really need to get some digital scales rather than the silly spin about one i have as i cant read it too easily from 5 ft away lol

Hi everyone, hope your all well. I'm really struggling today. I just want to eat bad things. Really want some chocolate. Actually I want more chocolate cos I've already had some. I was quite bad at the weekend as well and I really don't want to blow it, because I really want to break into the next stone this week. Does anyboy else get days like this.

.... you're mad when it comes to that gym thing aint ya? Well motivated. I gave it a go once and could never get into it.

As for scaring the ladies away... just like a Saturday night up West Brom really, I'm used to it.

Can we fill the thread with 200 pages of drivel just so that Lois has to go to the hassle of starting Lose Weight 14? :)

we all do misty <sigh>. Sorry to hear you feel you have used up your treat allowance for the time being, sounds like you could really do with that chocolate.

OK, make the choice.... the choc or the weightloss? Take your pick, but not both!
