I was wondering if there is an exercise video that I can use that doesn't involve jumping up and down.
..... I got the Cindy Crawford workout video - I'm disappointed overall, but I have a left arm like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

I just weighed myself and I have lost one pound since last week. I have to own up to weighing myself far too often. After not losing anything for two weeks I was desperate to find a 'lighter' day so I could fool myself that I had lost weight. I promise not to weigh myself now until next Wednesday. I was two pounds lighter on Monday though!!business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Thank you
What about a fitness yoga dvd?? there are a few yoga dvd's for weight loss, and although yoga doesnt sound like hard exercise it really is! I have a dvd and did a class at uni and it was really hard work, left me very sweaty but overall slimmer and much more toned as it targets every muscle.
ps- i hit thanks instead of quote, so have some free thanks from me!!
well done poohbear59!Moneysavinghopeful :rotfl:0 -
well, just finished dinner. We had quorn stif fry and while I thought it was OK my OH thought the quorn was a bit soggy:mad: .
So to all you Quorn officionados (Ajax) did I do something wrong or is Quorn a bit soggy
I did buy the fillets rather than the chicken style pieces and then just chopped them up (I reckon I burned some calories as I had to chop them up while still frozen :rotfl: )
Any suggestions/help would be welcomed as I'd love to use it more as it is so low fat and I don't really like to buy chicken for things like stir frys as it seems like a waste of money (I only by free-range meat)
TIA

Well done suggs, poohbear, sa1sysoo and katmad :T :T This certainly does seem to be a good week for losses and :j for jab for not gaining...
...Your post made good reading Suggs :T for me the problem is breaking the habit of weighing myself. Many years ago I got into the habit of weighing myself everytime I went into the bathroom or when I'd eaten or drank something and got completely obsessed with itIt's one thing that I'll try not to do this time...
...I've just had my dinner as per the plan i.e. Vegetable Bake topped with Goat's Cheese and Herbed Lemon Breadcrumbs and it was absolutely gorgeous, and only approx 200cals per portion (MrP will have a double portion should anyone think I starve himand no doubt he'll have some cake etc for afters)...
xxxxI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

So following on from the various Quorn discussions, I have added various Quorn sausages and burgers to my Tesco shop for next week. Didn't venture into the quorn mince as I really think it doesn't look nice but I am trying to be open minded. Wish me luck...
DH and I have just had spaghetti bolognese made with Quorn, and it was delicious, I do recommend it to you.
This is my recipe:
1 pack Quorn mince
1 large or 2 small onions, chopped
1 tin chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp dried mixed herbs
clove of garlic, crushed
1 tsp nutmeg
1 colmans spag bol mix (yes, cheating I know!)
Give it a go - I don't eat beef mince at all anymore.
