...Victory I have to admit that I couldn't help but laugh at your bizarre day:rotfl: , although I know what panic attacks are like, the first one I had I genuinely thought I was having a heart attack; but what a weird woman (not you! silly) who stuffed the money in your hand for the tickets she must have been desperate. I hope you're feeling okay now...

    xxxx
yes fine now thank you, yes I know what person just hands over a wad of money for an email:rotfl: :rotfl: they say it comes in threes so not expecting anything else today, 2 weird men and 1 weird woman is enough;)

Tried quorn, couldn;t get on with it though, it looks insipid and tastes bland...

:o Not sure I could ever do a public weigh in with a diet class either!

A lot of people are put off attending slimming classes because they're afraid of being humiliated at the weigh-in, but in my experience, classes recognise this and they are very discreet. The only person who knows your weight is the person in charge of the scales (and they are sworn to secrecy at pain of death) and the class leader. At the SW classes I've been to, the consultant announced how much you'd lost so that the rest of the members could give a round of applause, but if you gained they wouldn't say how much.

Plus I've only eaten that and my lunch (toasted baked bean sarnies) all day.

That sounds lovely! I wonder where that sandwich toaster has disappeared to.... :p

I was very scared about going but they are very discreet about it , sp i plucked up the courage to go and i weighed in at 32stones 12lbs and nobody battered an eye lid they were all very friendly and asked how i was doing. so go along it could be just what you need.

...Well Peeps! I've been and bought some quorn products, there was only a limited supply where I went and they didn't have any of those peppered steaks that were mentioned earlier unfortunately (they sound nice). I bought Tomato and Basil Sausages, Smoky Red Pepper sizzlers and Lamb style grills,

.... crikey, I'd forgotten all about the Red Pepper Sizzlers. Must pop to ASDA sometime, our Tesco doesn't do them. Sizzlers are one of the few sausages that are SW synned folks, so don't be treating them as free.
all with the complete agreement of MrP :j . I'm quite surprised just how low in calories they are, I hope that they're filling and tasty (or rather, don't taste too weird ;) ). I'll let you know how I get on with them as some will be included in my menu plan for the coming week. I really do like this planning lark thingy :j I haven't wasted any food or spent needless money during the week, and it's all down to you lovely lot :T ...

    xxxx

    ..... weird????

The glass is starting to fill itself peeps. After 3 enforced sandwich buffets and three bottles of wine in two days, I was hoping two or three good days might see my 5 lb disappear as it was new fat. Not quite, but there's only 3 of the 5 to go now... hopeful that I can get that down to 1 or 2 by Thursday if I try.... which I guess will involve not going out with my mate to the real ale pub on Wednesday. Oh well, can't have it both ways.

Petrichor, in my area the ASDA, Tesco and Sainsburys all do peppered steaks, so it might be worth trying these stores if you haven't already?

(EDIT: sorry Lois, just in case you missed it I didn't weigh in this week as was expecting a gain which would not be representative... guess that puts me down as a maintain until we get a proper weigh-in figure?)

Could someone on SW please PM me with this week's website password - I haven't seen my new consultant for more than 2 minutes total so haven't got her number or email address yet. I think the password from two weeks ago will be out of action tomorrow so I'll be unable to use the site :( )

    Thanks in advance.

...Sorry ajax but it's how us non veggies, have been led to expect such foods to be like. Dedicated carnis over the years have said things such as - it tastes like plastic or it's weird or it's tasteless etc etc (my husband is one of those and he's never tasted the stuff  , so I asked him yesterday how knew this and he couldn't give me an answer, hence the reason why he agreed that we should try some). Like a lot of foods it depends what you put in them and it's just what you get use to...but if he's proved to be correct my life won't be worth living

...If you're careful from now through to Thursday I don't see why you should deny yourself a good night out especially if it's not a regular thing, a treat and all that, just try and stop after the first gallon or so ;) :rotfl:

.... so true :( It's really eating into the "body magic" opportunities, I get most of mine from golf, and just like Tallgirl, am definitely a fairweather player. Whichever of you Thames Water folks did the rain dance, can you please stop now? :)

.... Petrichor, I have a problem. I'm at work and have misplaced an important sample. HELP!

I hope he's objective enough to have an open mind rather than stick to his guns?

.. funny you should say that. It's a brewery pub and they have 8 different beers on at any one time, so we usually do stop after a gallon. It makes for a giggly, loud taxi ride home. But I really don't want to put on this week, even if it is only once in a blue moon.
